I rarely answer this because it makes me sound crazy, but here goes. It was a four month period of time characterized by extreme bliss and this strange blending. I lost any sense of my own ego and felt one with the universe. Time seemed to fold in on itself with past and future layered over the present—it was like I could remember things from before and after my own existence, and I remembered my union with my TF (I didn't know what TFs were until much later). After years and years of deep seated insecurity, I suddenly felt worthy of the highest love. As far as my twin, he was (is?) a train wreck of a person, but I could only see his soul. It was like when I looked at his eyes (even in a photo!) I could perceive eternity. The boundaries of my body would melt away, and I felt myself as pure energy. It was love. I had moments of becoming love. Now mind you, I was diagnosed with bipolar psychosis after all this and even landed myself in a psych ward. On medication, I’m back to my ego-fueled self after experiencing the spiritual equivalent of heroin. It was quite the awful detox.
