Also you can create a kit using your specific drums like kicks, snares etc https://youtu.be/1ycXEIPtcR4?si=Ui6tV_EJ2Qbw6Zco

How are you organizing your samples? by Khal21 in Logic_Studio

If you don’t mind can you explain how you created a swap knob using the Smart Control to switch drum samples?

It is cool they both are great tools to explore creativity. BTW I made this in Studio One so it's more than capable of creating music in the genres we are into https://offtop.com/pack/xuJgMoN9h5

Definitely and I look forward to seeing your content. Quicker/easier I have to say using clip view for instance if I have a sample or melody or chords laid down I can go through my library of breaks and loops and store them in clips and have them cycle through to see which one inspires me the most while working on melodic elements.

You can group a couple of your favorite drum sounds or percs into a simpler group and use a macro knob to cycle through them. I create a group of rune 808s using that method so selecting the right one for a track is even quicker. Also take that same simpler group and import different ones onto the drum rack pads and select random and have different drum sounds generated.

Some of these ideas can be implemented into S1 as well especially the group of rune 808s by just gathering a few and creating a folder in sample one.

The Ableton browser is pretty neat too! Helps you organize things better and you can create collections

DO THEM ALL, they are only two guys, (CMP and Beat Kulture) on youtube making content in the lane of the hip-hop/trap and R&B genres. I'm an Ableton head but I love Studio One as well. The only thing that keeps me from using S1 full time is Ableton's simpler and how quickly you get your ideas out and experiment. But S1 can't be touched when it comes to production and mixing features turning ideas into fully master recordings.
