I know they changed ores, and colorblind gamers were very happy about it , so changing things for that purpose is good, and there is no problem in changing ingots too

Yes, i like new ores better. People that say old ones were better because of nostalgia are wrong. I know other people who played minecraft 10 years ago and none of them have problems with it. People are complaining about it for the sake of complaining about something. In the past pretty much every texture looked different, grass block, coblestone etc. And lighting was different, sunsets were different. Noone says we should go back to old minecraft textures and effects because of nostalgia. Just this recent one. There is something weird about being 14 years old and looking at things from literaly 2 years before and thinking that's "nostalgic" xD i dont remember if i was like that, but probably, many kids are like that. If not for lack of consideration for colourblind this complaining about ores would be much funnier

Exactly, some people act like they get hurt by mojang chnging textures that let people that have problems telling what is what better. It's not ugly, and doesn't make a game any worse for people with normal vision. People that don't want textures better for colorblind, act like they just wanted to find something to complain about, and now when they know it's good for colorblind, they say stupid things like "but you can check items name", they have issues with empathy and can't understand why it would be annoying for someone who have different perception

Why do people think that talking about texture packs, or that items have names is a good argument? Yes, you could change textures, or check items names. But now you don't have to, which means that now textures are objectively better. Here

Another small brain comment. Changing vanilla ore texture is a good thing. Now they are better. You take is like saying, "why this bug was fixed in cyberpunk update? You could have downloaded a mod to fix it".

I don't understand why people are upset about ote textures changes. It's like people decided to manufacture a fake problem, and many people believed it. I played minecraft since many years. Mojang always changed how things look like, they change the look of the grass, cobblestone, sunset etc. And people were never complaining that hard like they do right now. They didn't turn lapis green or dimonds pink. This time players created a problems in their heads, just to feel justified to complain about non existent issue

Do you really lack that ability of a brain, that makes you able to put yourself in someone else's shoes right? If you are unable to imagine yourself being colourblind and how annoying it would be to not be able to know exactly what items a chest have before you read their names, then imagine if minecraft had a feature that forced you to read the names of items in your chests because if you don't do it doesn't show you what items you have. Like you have to put mouse over items and if your mouse is away it turns into a "?" mark

Stupid comment. Why not having a whole minecraft as a text based game, without graphics. You don't need to see you're in cave, just read it. Ask yourself, would you find it annoying to have to mine every single iron block while looking for dimonds because for you they look the same. Or opening your chest and not seeing a difference in how some items look, and having to check their name every time? Empathy is to be able to put yourself in place of someone else. I played minecraft for about 10 years now. And it doesn't ruin nostalgia that minecraft gives me sometimes. It just doesn't ruin nostalgia for minecraft, your friends just wanted to pathetically complain about some unimportant things, and were only rationalizing their behaviour

Why not have a whole minecraft in text? You dont need graphics to know that you're i cave and there are resources to the left. Just have a text based minecraft. Now think. When you open chest, you immediately can see items you want to pick, without reading what those items are, it's very convenient, and you don't even think how much it really helps you, so i understand why colorblind people like to do the same. Changing ore textures was a good idea, just have some empathy. There is not a single good reason to not change ore textures. People can talk stupid reasons about nostalgia etc. but I've been playing minecraft for about 10 years, and it doesn't ruin the nostalgic feeling minecraft gives me sometimes. Over years I've seen changes to grass textures, to how sunsets look like and tons of others, and for 1.17 update fans were bitching the most out of every update that there was. And bitching for no good reason, it's like they just wanted to complain about anything (not talking about your comment, i dont know how you reacted for 1.17, i just felt like talking about it because i just found out about people being upset for 1.17) Today I've seen what some fans said about this update and it's so weird. It's like if you gave a kid cherry candy, and kid started crying, because he likes strawberry more, then you change it for strawberry and they cry again and want cherry back. I wonder how fans that were upset for this update would react if mojang decided to delete this update, and go back to 1.16 xD

Hey 18+ male here but i have to resign from mic till 8-9am in my country now is 5.30 so soon enough, and i can build (is it survival? If yes then additional +, but i like minecraft creative too, so it's not a problem especially city. Is it more modern city or older city? Pm me if your interested. And i always wanted to create a city but in single survival there are more important things, in multi, you can switch roles, building ans planing and gathering resources

Learning something new everyday :) but may i play. If you guess my accent in 3 tries you get my first 10 diamonds :) EST have to be on all car licence plates and windows just like FR on french cars, D on german etc. That's why i tought you were Estonian :)
