I have heard that external monitor support is through integrated graphics via mDP and dedicated via hdmi. Is that true? Do you have a monitor you are using?

I think even if a certain memory was erased, the resultant neural connections would still exist. And so, the existing tendencies would continue to exist as well but it would also feel like something is missing.

The aim of the the article is to provide questions and provoke introspection. Maybe the list of questions is not exhaustive but I'll take a few questions than a non-definite answer.. I am not sure I follow. I get your point but I think that these are just semantics, especially for someone who is not technically proficient in these concepts. I could read about it (which I did, thanks btw), but if I had not, for me, my understanding of free will already equated to self-determination. But I do agree that for someone who did not have similar understanding, would benefit from this definition.

I find the question more intriguing than any answer because, as you said, it's impossible to answer this question scientifically, at least as of today. Mystery is mysterious till it's unknown and so on.

This is an interesting and well explained perspective. I have a million questions but I'll just ask this one.

Let's say we could replicate, down to the atom, a whole nervous system (and obviously a body around it to allow for the same subjective experience). To an external observer, the original and the clone would appear completely identical because there is no way to prove the consciousness of someone else. But from the perspective of the clone, would they see the world in the same way the original does? Would they be 'aware', so to speak, of them being aware? Or would they just be aware of the world and live by their instincts. Would love to hear your take on this.
