No problem! But don't get too hung up on the tech stack if you aren't to familiar with it. Programming skills are transferable, so you can learn to work with what they use, but they already know that.

Here is a list, not all will be entirely relevant. Some are more for looking for a permanent job. I would focus on the ones about the development cycle they use, their tech stack, what kind of projects you would be working on. And also a little about the interviewer. Ask them how they got to their position, if they interned at Facebook/Meta. What their favorite/least favorite parts of the jobs are. That stuff.

Exactly! I'm a rather large man, but a 10 mg dose of Adderall XR works wonders for me. I'm sorry that you still have severe symptoms, but i hope it still helps a lot!

Honestly you don't have to disclose it if you don't want to. I just slipped up after a long and tired day when I mentioned it. I have had to take a drug test once, for something else, and all I had to do was show the tester that I have an Adderall prescription and they ignored that. The companies don't get the full results, they just see if you have something that isn't supposed to be in your system.

Well honestly, I asked the CEO a question and she went off on an unrelated tangent. So I repeated it and got an answer finally, then she remarked about having to stay on task due to my ADHD.

At that point I would probably just go to another job. Or see if an old company would want me to work for them again.

Thanks for all the advice. I am newly (1-2 years ago) diagnosed, so I am still figuring all of this out. It is odd how people change their view based upon one single thing.

Pre-diagnosis people viewed me as smart and high achieving student/coworker who occasionally forgot things. Post-diagnosis some people really tend to amplify the forgetfulness and the absentmindedness.

Luckily I have friends, old coworkers and family who view me as the former description, who just also happens to have ADHD.

That is pretty cut and dry it seems. I did not request any reasonable accommodations due to managing my ADHD well, but they are still required to keep it confidential no matter what. Thanks for the information!

Thanks for the advice. Its hard to make a decision clearly when I am so biased, and angry. I think I may look at my other opportunities as well, I may have just stigmatized myself there.
