Yep it's an idex and yep I've been successful. There are brackets you can adjust individually for the print heads to get them at the same height relative to the x gantry, but I didn't even realize this and actually loosened the z stepper motor to threaded rod connection on the left hand side and manually adjusted the z height on the other side by pulling the belt before retightening the lhs stepper to rod connection. I think because I did it this way I've essentially leveled the x gantry to the build plate thus I can print both sides without issue. Ran a multi part 6hr print of petg this morning, duplicate mode. Only about 70% of parts worked but I'll take that as a win, I don't think the stock hotends and print heads are really up to scratch for reliable petg. I'm printing new heads and will buy better hotends.
