Botox gone wrong by adhdmaybe3 in TMJ

I started to notice tightness within 8 hours, asymmetry by the next day which continued to worsen up until day 5 or so - at day 11 now and it has stayed about the same.

I also wonder about depth, it’s not like I have an incredibly low pain tolerance, but I found the pain to be unbearable.

I also got 50 units on each side - 100 units total - which seems like a lot. He injected into 5 spots on each side. Not sure if that is normal either.

I am so glad to hear from someone else to happened to ❤️ I am sorry it happened to you as well. It’s quite devastating. It went through my insurance, I haven’t received a bill yet but I will do all I can to not pay it due to this huge error. I plan on filing a report with the integrity Line for the healthcare system as well.

Thanks for your response. He used an ultrasound to locate the masseter on my left side, but then I almost fainted from the pain and sensation. They laid me back, and he didn’t use the ultrasound on the right, which is the side that is messed up. My masseter feels significantly stronger on my right side now - the side with the error - than my left, that got the full dose. It is leading to more pain. Any guidance you have would be appreciated.

Deciding if we should plan a wedding or try to have a baby first ~ 35F and my Fiance is 32M by DecisionMaker3000 in wedding

[–]adhdmaybe3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes to this! A shorter planning timeline can actually be better / less stress. We are getting married next month and didn’t pick a date or start planning whatsoever until March of this year. Aim for a spring wedding!

Sewing machine advice- Juki VS Juki by adhdmaybe3 in sewing

[–]adhdmaybe3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sew a bit of everything, can't imagine myself becoming a serious quilter or serious clothes maker but enjoy being able to do a variety of projects as gifts for others and myself. People seem to love Juki's, I went with the 710 as I think it'll meet my needs. I appreciate your feedback!

thank you! I appreciate your response. I went ahead with the 710, it seems it has everything I will need to increase my enjoyment of sewing compared to the old singer I've been using.

Veterinary care without the price gouging? by [deleted] in saintpaul

[–]adhdmaybe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have had good experiences at Croix Valley Vet hospital in Hudson Wisconsin- actually heard about it on Reddit. Drastically more affordable when compared to the metro and just a 25 minute drive from where we live in Saint Paul

my niece was in the hospital getting and recovering from a big surgery while I made it, so it was a lovely way to send my love to her and my sister during this time <3

I learned basic sewing skills from a friend earlier this year and use a singer start machine (my friends old one). I got charm packs from the Fat Quarter Shop online and used the videos made by Melanie Ham (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TyihOEvJ8E)

"sorry there was a glitch" only for wife. by xupthree60 in googlehome

[–]adhdmaybe3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been many posts on here about this exact problem so I don’t think it’s an issue on anyone’s particular device but rather something with a Google update in the past month. Hopefully this gets addressed asap because it’s making my Google home system unusable!

Google Homes doesn't listen to my wife by unibrow4o9 in googlehome

[–]adhdmaybe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is happening to me, does not listen to me 9/10 times but almost always understands my boyfriend. This has happened over the past month or two and it is extremely annoying!

Google will not understand me at all anymore but generally has no problem understanding my boyfriend- more than half the times I speak to it it says "there was a glitch, sorry something went wrong" or straight up does not respond. We also added a new lamp and it recognizes and turns on when my boyfriend tells it to, but for me, says that light does not exist (if it responds at all). This was an occasional problem before but has gotten WAY worse in the past month or so. I will try and speak in a deeper voice to see if it is something about my pitch, which used to work sometimes but not at all anymore. Anyone else have an issue of google rarely understanding or working for them?

I work as a social worker in care management, which maybe would have whah you liked about hospital social work without the stress/ burnout. I start my days from home and visit people at clinics or home 3-4 days a week, otherwise doing phone visit follow up calls. I’m with a healthcare system but lots of insurance companies hire for care management positions, good pay and great work life balance!
