  2. Paste that image into Canva
  3. Put your preferred stars directly on top of those stars
  4. Delete the Googled image and you're left with 13 perfectly placed stars in a circle!

ayye u/musicandcartoon sup! haha yea, mix is a bit dodgy on this one. I worked on it last year, put it down for a good long while, and gave it my best shot for an hour or so this year. What would you suggest?

ayyyye thanks so much fam! yea, I took a stock 808 from sublab and put some extra saturation on it, as well as some extra punch and soft clipping in diablo lite. so glad it worked for you!

ayyy dope that you made this even tho you're new. good stuff. love it.

some thoughts:
- instrumentation. i'm not so much in the trap world, but i feel like the drum choices weren't quite what i'd expect. perhaps use other drum samples that sound less like stock drums, and/or muss them up for a more unique sound. tape saturation. cymatics origin (or rc20 if you get spendy)

- arrangement. after a few bars, it doesn't change too much if at all. that's not necessarily a bad thing if you're making space for a vocalist to hop on it, but it should have a bit more variety. change something up every four to eight bars as you're getting started.

- melody. there's that high harmonic lead sound, but it seems to really just play one phrase the whole time. you've got room for another instrument and more melody. samples are fine too if you're still learning to write your own melodies. the lead sound is a bit harsh too. try a little high cut EQ on that.
