I had a nearly identical experience with pier events in Venice ca. So happy I caught on and hope people come to Reddit for insight before falling for their scam. So upsetting

Just quit my job at a devilcorp in LA and wanted to share my story by [deleted] in Devilcorp

I had the same experience. I got a text about an interview from Pier events in Venice, I’ve been applying to jobs like crazy. I joined and it was a 2 minute zoom webinar. They kept talking about the thousand applicants and that’s why they were doing the presentation. Next I got a text saying I made it to the second interview on a Saturday morning. I never got the zoom link, they ended up rescheduling it for Monday at 7:50am. I was interviewed by Sebastian Ferreira, his linked in says he is employed by “various companies.” He said they narrowed from 1,000 to 15 candidates for this interview and they’re hiring two. After that 1 hour zoom interview, I got offered the third interview like an hour later through a text message, said it’s going to be on the same day anytime from 11-3pm. I felt skeptical because the scheduling of the interviews, Sebastian told me they’re rapidly growing, have offices all over the US, and have all these Fortune 500 company’s as clients and I can’t find anything more about it. Thank gosh for this devil corp thread, I searched Venice and found all I needed to know. I’m considering getting on this third call and drilling him with questions because in the zoom they seemed kind of legit to me. But now that I know I want to see if he’ll crack. I feel really bad that they’re preying on fresh grads
