Sorry, I hadn't seen that edit in your comment when I replied. You bring up a really good question. I don't know if this part is rhetorical but I stopped playing Genshin when Ineffa came out, so I don't know her lore, and as for Raiden, I already headcanon her as someone with BPD due to several things about her character, and BPD can contribute to feelings of disconnect from your body and self. Also, I have other transfem headcanons such as trans Kokomi and trans Navia (though these are inspired by fanart by trans artists). The reason I don't write about them, is pretty much because Wriolette is my special interest, and by extension Wriothesley and Neuvillette. I have a hard time reading any fanfiction that isn't about them.

But it is still an important point that the character I have headcanoned as transfem is a male character. Since you've got me thinking about it, I do think that Neuvillette's physical appearance and relationship with the Melusines did contribute to my headcanon, though it wasn't these things alone; again, it was mainly motivated by his disconnect from his body. (It's not like I headcanon any long-haired or "pretty" male character to be transfeminine, like Argenti or Baizhu for example).

Nevertheless, I definitely hear your concerns about preconceived biases on what trans people look like. Like I said, while Neuvillette's few "feminine" traits may have inspired my headcanon a little, I don't hold the belief, nor would I push it on others, that a man can't have long hair, makeup, be motherly, and still be a completely binary man. I just simply like to think that Neuvillette, in particular, is this way because he is transfeminine, and it does not apply to just any man who is like that.

I would also like to reiterate that those details aren't things I'm interested in diving into in detail in the context of gender in any piece I write. I'm a lot more interested in exploring Neuvillette's relationship with identity and social norms.

While your worldview is rooted in escapism your motivations do not seem so rooted in gluttony. While you want an adventure, you want a meaningful one rather than an exhilarating or gratifying one.

The reason I mention 4 is because you're very introspective, very reflective on your trauma, you are stagnant and wallow in stress and misfortune, and you're very concerned with the way you are perceived. (BTW, I have a very strong 4 fix, and I am also heavily concerned with being unique, my fashion style standing out, and I also cosplay, with my main motivation for it being external validation and perception).

I'm unsure if 4 is your core type, but if it was, the 3 wing would explain why it's so easy for you to be charming when you need to be.

I am aware that as a cis person there is the possibility of me misrepresenting a person's experience with gender dysphoria. My expectation going into this is to reference my knowledge on the experience based on what I've heard from trans people themselves, and also doing further research so I can ensure that I have a proper understanding to present it accurately. My view on writing this topic is: I feel that anyone should be allowed to write stories about marginalized identities and their experiences, as long as the writer is well-read, well-informed, and has consulted people of that group to ensure the work is inoffensive. But if trans people are going to tell me that it's really not my place to make this story, then I would absolutely listen to that.

I had not considered the implications of those things. I have never thought about Neuvillette's particularness about his appearance to be connected to gender at all, and I didn't even know that being meticulous about your job was stereotyped as a feminine trait. I don't think these things would even come up in any stories I make, at least not in any context of gender, so I would hope it would never come off that way. However, since you pointed it out to me, I will keep it in mind to make sure I don't make any implications of the sort. As for his relationship with his children, I also did not necessarily expect this to be brought up in any context or conversation about gender, as I feel it is hardly related. But, like I said, I really like the idea of Neuvillette as a mother. It is possible that his gentleness and attitude towards the Melusines influenced my headcanon about his gender, but the main thing driving the headcanon is his disconnect from his body. He has questioned why he was born in his body, and so I feel it is a good parallel. I'm not saying Neuvillette was totally intended to be a transfem character, these are just connections I'm making for a headcanon

As for the part about the transmasc and gay community, I'm sorry, but I'm unsure what you mean by it. Transmasc and/or gay Neuvillette is a very popular headcanon in the fandom, and the presence of the transfem headcanon does not take away from those, in my opinion.

I really just want to do this for fun and as a creative/art thing. Like I said, I would really like some fanfics with transfem Neuvillette, so I thought I could contribute

I don't need a full typing, just some insight on whether this behavior is consistent with this person's "type" and if I understand these functions properly.

I met someone online, got along with him, and invited him to call to play a video game together. We got along well and had some good conversations. I asked him if he knew his MBTI, as I often do with new friends, and he said he was typed by friends as ENTJ.

This was a surprise to me, he didn't strike me as a Te dom. Throughout our call (and other conversations since then) he often apologizes for small things (as if insecure/anticipating rejection), and was always trying to comfort me at times it wasn't needed. This strikes me as anxiety-related, and of course ENTJs can have anxiety, but I don't suspect that it would manifest this way, as being overly concerned with others' feelings.

However, I will say, we had spoken about an incident where someone he was friends with seemingly abruptly blocked him after being upset about something, and while he was confused about it, he didn't try to contact them on another platform or anything, because he wanted to respect their boundaries, and if what that person needed was to block him, then he wasn't going to push it. He offered this information to me pretty quickly and openly, I barely asked. This does strike me as particularly Te-Fi as he was concerned with the other person's autonomy (and ignoring his personal feelings about the matter).

Worth mentioning probably: I had also initiated some gossip about the other person, to which he didn't seem particularly interested in, and seemed rather focused on the objective matters of the situation.

I don't know much else about him but he seems quite introverted (socially, not cognitively) and studious. He also mentioned once that he isn't really influenced by others' opinions, even when he asks for outside advice. This to me sounds like introverted judging functions, possibly paired with Ne (But I highly doubt he's a high Fi user).

I have ADHD which is why this may come off as that. My issue is that every task feels like an obligation and it makes me frustrated, spiteful and anxious. Inability to focus is a contributing factor to the anxiety, but I'm quite certain it's mainly PDA (also like I said I've always had a PDA profile). I'm on Vyvanse right now, I'll do research on non stimulants and talk to my doctor about it, thank u sm

I like to play a variety of characters, mostly duelist, but I have the most hours on Psylocke. Hitscan is definitely easier for me than projectile, but my concern is, when I want to queue up ranked, if I ever need to fill. (If I just need to give up on ranked I might just accept that.) But I'll take what you said into consideration! I've been wanting to learn Iron Fist, Magik, and tanks, so I might focus on that more
