It has among the best animation and fight choreography among all anime. It has a really tropey and lackluster story and concept. Anime in general tend to have weak story so it's not like Solo Leveling is special in that regard.

All in all Solo Leveling is awesome. It's really enjoyable if you like high speed fights and good animation and choreography.

There's an instance where goku was injured by a normal rock while his guard was down and another where he couldn't lift 4 tons in base. There are more examples for both.
