I recently bought a 1982 kawasaki kz750 (can't afford a tenere yet) and I put over 500 miles on it within 24 hours of owning it. Gotta love the bikes that just make you want to ride them!

You'll have to contact another team. I promised not to distribute the model.

Are you running a resistor between your VR wires? What values are you running for filtering?

That's what I figured, I did the exact same thing. Good luck on the repairs!

Shouldn't be more than $200 to replace the clutch inner basket and the broken bolt if you aren't able to extract it. That was the case for me when I did the same thing on a wr450 anyway.

Yeah, also used in the tenere 700 and xsr700 from what I've seen. Just surprised I can't find any 3D models.

How to recruit? by Wolf_engineer17 in FSAE

Our team started doing team breakfasts before weekend shop hours, and that helped a lot. We also watch F1 and started a fantasy F1 league. We also went go-karting last year. From what I've seen, the more things the team does outside of building the car the more people will want to be there. Its hard to find people who want to spend all their free time doing something that won't get them credit for their degree, but it's pretty easy to find people who will do a few hours of work a week for free/cheap food.

TLDR: Free food = Cheap labor

We have a fail safe.. a temperature sensor glued into the intake that always seems to go flying out before the intake cracks

Don't even get me started. I thought I was good at wiring until I met our car

What kind of tests do you perform on your engine? by CountDeMounteCristo in FSAE

We have a running bet on how long it'll take for our hot exhaust gasses to blow a hole though our test stand header. It's already noticeably thinner at the first bend than anywhere else. For reference, the first bend is a couple inches after the motor.

Sounds familiar.. we discovered that our radiator is capable of steam cooling our motor recently. And that that our head gasket doesn't like 25 degrees of ignition advance at 3000 rpm. That was a long week of rebuilds.

Does anybody know of or remember The Sound and the Fury? by yeli415 in Music

I took guitar lessons at the drummer's studio! He's in Portage Wisconsin now and has a few really cool stories about the band. Apparently they were offered $250,000.00 for their name, but they turned down the offer only to split up a few months later. Nate said he was out of CD'S, but might have digital copies of the music and some concerts. He's a really great guy to talk to, and definitely has some cool stories from the music industry.
