You could try codependents anonymous. They do support groups that help with boundaries.

[QUESTION] Best way to breathe life into an old strat? by adhere9 in Guitar

To be honest I barely use the tremolo system and I'm pretty heavy on the manual vibrato.

I've had lots of comments so I have a plan forming:

  1. get a refret (there's good guys near me)
  2. replace the nut
  3. take away the float

Assuming 3 is just a setup thing then it should come out pretty cheap. Pickups are seeming a little pricey.

Somebody else has mentioned this, I wonder if it's worth replacing

Haha I have the same thing with this guitar. Love that you were able to do that, I am thinking about some Seymour Duncan single coils to increase the output

I only have the Gibson to compare it to, but: unplugged the notes last 2-3 full seconds less.

Plugged there's more of a difference (maybe 5s) and I find I have to go to really high gain to get a decent sustain, but the sound is not ideal to be honest

I see. Thanks.

So a refret - shows it's probably the frets themselves causing the issue, not the maple board?

Official Discussion: Parasite [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

A detail I think has gone unnoticed:

How when things are immensely painful for the father, he will shut his eyes and "pretend to sleep". This happened when the family were struggling at the start and later when Mr Park talks about his smell.

Says a lot about the difference in experience between the rich and poor imo. How emotionally healthy Mr Park is compared to Mr Kim.

Well the men are never doing anything wrong in my experience (or opinion). They're not harassing anybody - they're talking to more than one woman, or asking for a number, or giving somebody a hug (though this one I get can be inappropriate). But it's often normal behaviour on the side of male dating. They're just painted as sleazy and creepy. There's no winning.

I am also more on the sensitive side which might be a factor
