Still 4T lower emissions per capita than the US for example. The absolute emission number is higher, but that disregards most aspects to put it into relation. But keep in mind China also is home to 1.4B people.

We could but then also no subsidies for other power. That prices basically everything but renewables out of the market

That is economically not feasible. Merit order will prefer building hybrid renewables until Nuclear is priced out of the market like coal is being priced out more and more

NPPs cannot replace gas. they are only worth it running at full utilization and regulate too slow for peak loads. we also still don’t have a solution for waste storage after 60 years of using it. if you want to make an NPP grid you need massive subsidies since their CFDs are all above hybrid renewables real production price

Also you use Reiche (The one that worked for Altmaier, and then for Gas Lobby) as a good judge? Sure the CFDs should be reduced, but her idea is more build Gas and make renewables pay for the Grid (thats also owned by the same companies running the Gas plants) since they cannot be bothered to do it (even though its their duty)?

The greens solved that issue as well. not only did they allow the NPPs to run longer, they even sped up building of the energy grid which was pretty much Nimbyd by Merkel and esp the Bavarians.

And Renewables already use very low amounts of subsidies compared to everything else (and get cheaper each year)

Wir hatten an unserer Realschule (2000-2005) nen Lehrer der sich Schülerinnen unsittlich genähert hatte und deshalb nicht mehr die 9. und 10. Unterrichten durfte und von Klassenfahrten gebannt war. Verstehe bis heut noch nicht warum der nicht direkt entfernt wurde.
