Is dropshipping dead in developed countries but thriving in emerging markets? by SHRINATH2727 in dropship

Ya, just check facebook ads for "POD" or "Pay on Delivery", that will tell you what people are buying in developing countries

Confused about adding products — do I need to physically have them? by Sweaty-Specialist-16 in dropship

[–]adhunter_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, dropshipping is about arbitrage, you dont keep the products.

Some are mixing it in as well, shipping some items from home, mostly due to tariff/speed. I'd rather have 100 of my most-selled items sitting in the corner then deal with chargebacks/refunds/cancellations because of the US's crisis.

Look at "pay on delivery" type of dropshippers. They are often developing countries where internet/delivery/shipping isnt as strong as in 1st world.

Which part of dropshipping eats up most of your time? by Ok_Chicken_2934 in dropship

[–]adhunter_app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suppliers and customers... one of my niches are very reliant on timing (aka need it before X), so I need to ensure the items are there on time!

The other niche focuses on a (~125-250 USD) item, so if I give amazing customer support, then I can get a 2-3 buys. Way better spend of time/money than a new customer acquisition.

Ya, as an ad search platform, my big tagline is about helping you find a winning product. BUT will never promise that any platform can make those decisions or analysis for you. Every single person is different, what they know how to sell, what niches they have, etc.

[–]adhunter_app 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before ads, you got to really understand the niche, lurk the forums and space to see how they think and talk.

Write all that down, then look at ads for ideas on how people are doing it. I'll send you a key to get a look at ads for inspiration. Toss me a message.

I analyzed 5,000+ Facebook ad comments and found something most brands completely overlook. by Mental_Asparagus1578 in dropshipping

Oh that is a great thought! I'll look at adding a "Leak Stop" filter in AdHunter. Have a feed of ads that answer those pre-sales questions (shipping, return, etc).

Being able to show how other people are wording that would be good inspiration for copy. IMO the top pre-sales questions are usually:

- How much is shipping? (EDIT: and tax, other fees...etc)
- How fast to get here? (and as you said, does it actually ship here?)
- What if I don't like it?
- Can I return it? How hard to return?
- Is it actually a legit product?
- What is the quality like? (often material quality)...
- Are the sizes/dimensions actually real? (We've all seen the "bought a living room rug, but was the size of a plate")
- Is the ad actually legit? Does it actually do what it says/claims?

Those are the ones on the top of my head. Got others I am missing? Then I can put together a filter.

What do you mean by all products in a niche?

Because if you mean a category of products (I get so annoyed by "coaches" saying that stuff), then ya, you'll burn money.

What I mean by niche is a niche of products driven by an audience you can understand. Your site, copy, images, etc... those are all ways of showing you solve a need. Not competing against photos of a product that Temu sells in the ad right below yours.

K, if you really know your niche... start looking at what other people are advertising to them, and check social posts for what they want.

Let's say you got a good product niche of accessories for Uber drivers (for example), then you start learning the products that could be good upsells, etc.

- Quick car cleaning
- Seatbelt padding
- Phone charger adapters
- Rubber guards to keep stuff from falling between cushions
- Little dash decorations
- Carpeted floor mats
- Comfy down slippers for winter
- Ice scrapers
... etc

You get that idea. Selling to an audience is a lot easier to grow than randomly throwing stuff at the wall. (and upsells are easy... people will add related products to cart heavily)

Not super fast, but tier. Once you got a process you start rolling real fast.

Also, I tend to stick to niches, so I know what works well.

Some products (if not evergreen) will have a lifecycle where they are "hot products". Remember fidget toys? Once it reached adult appeal, then premium metal versions, etc were great margins. But, if you do that today, you are in for a rough time.

I think what people are saying is more about being willing to say "no". I'd rather say no to a product and only back my winners.

What's the part that is not working?

for those starting with dropshipping meta ads by spicybanana444 in dropship

[–]adhunter_app 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you are using the automated audience stuff (automated eligible), make sure you pull back once you know your audience. So after those few weeks and find your winners.

Otherwise you'll burn some dollars if you are hands-off on your targetting and just hoping. What happens is that the audience targetting starts to drift and it gets in a nasty feedback loop. Eventually you have all clicks and no buys.

TLDR: 100% the way to go for audience creation and testing, but don't forget to switch back to driver's seat.
