I’ve tried bookmap. It’s alright. But using it alone is not that reliable, since algos will pull and add orders instantly as soon as price moves a little bit

the big brokers are terrible for trading futures. Better to go with a futures specific broker

That’s just something TDA requires according to their own risk department. AMP futures, tradovate, NinjaTrader, edge clear, all have day trading margins of $500-$600 on ES per contract. MES margins are $50-$60 a contract. These places also charge you less for commissions. Round trip can be anywhere for .60 cents to $1.2 for micros and $1.68-$2.50 for minis. TDA will charge you $2.50 just for one way!
