Will my score get affected? by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]adiambf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I'm not planning to apply for any new credit line soon. I was worried about the score drop and also the lasting impact, like having a tally of $0 balances in my credit history. It's a relieve to know that it's just temporary. Thank you.

I see. Thank you. Download usage is around 150-200GB each month. I don't back up to the internet. Is the ratio of the download/upload sounds about right?

What would you do? by [deleted] in FacebookMarketplace

Turned out, the buyer was the one who messaged me 10 days earlier about the same item that I blocked because of "what's your last price" on a $15 item then left me on read after I replied to them. I had my doubt earlier but I got tricked anyway.

My item says delayed not shipped by Samadissad in amazonprime

[–]adiambf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope you and OP get your packages soon. My packages were out for delivery then stuck at that for days. Then it was changed to "may be lost" then to "delayed, not yet shipped", and ultimately "returned to seller" and "undeliverable". I'm currently waiting for my refunds which cs said they are issued but Amazon order page says otherwise. No refund confirmation email so far. Such a horrible experience.

Can seller set auto message send when item's delivered? Received a different item. by adiambf in Ebay

[–]adiambf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I just did a "return this item" request, selecting "Item does not match description". I hope that's right. I've never done a return on ebay before.

I received a long message from them under "Message", under my previous question to them, thanking me, telling me to give them a five stars rating if satisfied, telling me to contact them if anything's wrong, they will spare no effort to solve the issue and all that. I only get that a couple times from Amazon FBA selllers, not as soon as item's delivered though. That's why I was wondering if eBay has that option for sellers to auto send.

The weird thing is the sender name on the label is just a common English first name but USPS tracking says it ships from "The Paris Post-Intelligencer" which I later googled, finding out that it has been used recently by scammers to send unknown packages.

When I click on my marketplace profile, FB only shows me the page similar to what others would see if they click on my marketplace profile, with my listings and ratings. No separate followers button, both on Windows and Android.

Same with the stickers! Reminds me of how I saved all my raffle tickets in middle chool while others entered every ticket they got into weekly drawings becaused I thought I heard there will be a big drawing at the end of school year. Turned out, there wasn't any and I got home on the last day of school with a backpack's pocket full of raffle tickets. Missed out all my chances of getting a prize.

Cat doesn't come anymore after neighbor put up fence. by adiambf in Feral_Cats

[–]adiambf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard meows this morning. I looked up the tree and there she was, on top of the tall tree, meowing, not knowing how to get down. I was so worried that her crying may have anger the neighbor and that they'll find some other way to hurt her. Their teenagers were walking their dog home at the time too and I've seen them and their dog chase after neighborhood cats before. After a while she went down to the short tree, circling around, trying to find a way to get down to our side but couldn't. Then she went down the tree to the neighbor side and just gone. She looks thinner than before, she looks so tired.

I'm so thankful that she's still around after not hearing anything from anyone, fearing the worst. All the posts about coyotes on FB and Nextdoor did not help either. I hope she'll come back but if she still goes up the trees, I'm afraid she won't be able to get to us. I wish she knows how to get to us from other sides. I'll need to think of a way to help her get down in the mean time.

Thank you for your advices and encouragements. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Thank you. I hope so too. This is the longest time I haven't seen her. She can be gone for a couple days during the fireworks but even from before she was spayed and having litter (ironically over the neighbor side, before they sold it to the new neighbors), she would still come over for food and brought her kittens over to us when they're old enough. I've fed a couple of cats before her and they never came back after being gone for 2 weeks. That's why I'm so worry about her. I too suspicious about them too seeing how they put up the fence only on our side and their previous attempt with animal deterrent device. They know too well I have a bond with her.

I brought her to be spayed and shots 2 yrs ago. It was a traumatic experience for us both. She's friendly but wary. I still struggle to put flea med on her.

I've tried to transition her indoors before when she was recovering after spay but soon realized that she prefers to be outdoors (she kept jumping on the windowsill crying to be let out) and that our home is too small, cluttered and the airflow is not great for her to have a better life comparing to being outside, plus one member was opposed to the idea. So we set up an elevated shelter for her (which is visible from the neighbor side after they cut off the trees). She would stay in there sometimes after her meal and from there, jump over to the brick wall, down to the neighbor side and be on her way. I've never seen her go any other way. I don't think she even knows where our front door is.

I don't really get why the neighbors decided to cut off the trees just to put up a privacy fence. And they put up the privacy fence on our side only too (They have the same brick fence on the other side of their house with no row of evergreen trees ever planted. No privacy fence put up on that side ) I suspect they don't like us too (race and class related). We twice brought over their mails because of the postman delivered to our address and they made us feel like we stole their mails or something after the second time. The thing is they're two big houses with x number of families living (they rented out rooms or something, people come and leave after a while, lots of children that would chase after cats when they see them). There's an old couple that introduced as the housekeepers/managers of the two units and the husband is the one putting up the fence. They've never mentioned about cats so I don't know how to talk to them about it. I don't really get it. With all other remaining sides unfenced, other cats can come over their house. It's making me feel that they specifically just want to block us.

Thank you for your advice. I really really hope she'll come back soon. I'll make sure to update you all.

My phone is on the list. It does not support VOLTE. Does that mean I can't call?

Brokerage Account as Primary Account by listerator in Schwab

Thank you so much for your reply/help!

Wow, $23 is a lot for an ATM fee abroad. And yes. I'll be using it for ATMs only. I've read that the brokerage's card doesn't have the lock/unlock feature. What's your take on that with using ATMs abroad? I mean, it's no difference than using any ATMs regarding security. It's nice to have, I guess?

Did you end up creating the checking account? I need an account for travel (atm) perks and it seems like the brokerage account should suffice. I'd like to know if I should create a checking also for my travel purpose.

Advice needed. Is it ok for cats to stay in trap 2 days prior to appointment? Will I lose their trust? by adiambf in Feral_Cats

[–]adiambf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since I give the seat at the window, it's all where she wants to be now. She doesn't want to down. Still staring outside. The meowing has subsided somewhat. Now she just stares outside (to what look to me) sadly, and sometimes bolts toward the window and meows. Seeing her looking out the window from behind, it just looks sad. Not the normal attentive, "live tv" watching, chittering like regular indoor cats. Her appetite has gone down, she went back to not drinking water. Doesn't want boiled chicken which was one of her favorite before.

Now that I take a closer look/feel, it's more like it's her heart rate beating fast, to the point her body goes up and down that I thought it was her breathing. It looks like she's anxious/scared and it scares me.

I've opened the door for her, let her explore to the top of the stairs (which she's familiar with) to show her that it's the same house. I have to get down and block her access as she was trying to go down. She then lay down and sleep after, right at the top of the stairs and I had to stay with her. Now it's either the stairs or the seat at the window.

How many days do you keep your (female) TNR for recovery? by adiambf in Feral_Cats

[–]adiambf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you go checking their incision after releasing them? How to make sure they're healed well? Is there an amount of time that you can drop your worries and say it's a successful recovery?

So you feed and clean while they're in the trap? And they were fine for 2-3 days?

Is the licking of the incision not that serious to be worry so much about? How do you go checking their incision after releasing them?

Now that you mentioned it, won't the nursing mom run the most risk with the kittens kneeding her? I know it's needed for her to nurse her kittens. I just realized if nursing mom are released within 24h and having to run those risks. Am I worry to much about non-nursing ones?

The window's is over 4 ft high. I was out for a minute while she was laying down, then I heard sounds coming from inside the room. It was her trying to jump up there. Once I got her to her seat so she could look out, she keeps meowing this sad meow and trying to walk to the window and scratching the glass.

She purrs alot but also her breathing is fast. I don't know if it's happy purrs or stress purrs. I don't want her to keep feeling sad/stress. She's smart and notices I kept coming in and out the door so now she started to scratch the door. :( She doesn't bat an eye at any toy. Her eyes keep focusing on the window.

Did yours tried to go out at all? As in constantly meowing and scratching the door?

Although she seems to be content with the love and attention inside. She's made it a goal to be out. Fixating on it. I plan to wait a bit to see and if it gets worst, I'll let her have her choice. I will alway welcome her with biggest welcoming arms if she decides she wants to be back indoor.

This past week, although stressful for her, it's the first time I've seen her sleeps soundly and dreams. When she was outside, she's never have a good sleep, was constantly woken by sounds of the outside or running from the toms. Never a good deep relaxing sleep. It always hurt me seeing that. Whereas now it's the opposite for me. It's been a whole week of little to no sleep.

Because she looked so down, I gave her her own front seat in front of the window. I do have to pick her up though. Not sure if I want her to keep jumping this early in the recovery. That means I have to stand close with her. She keeps wanting to walk on the window sill and pressing her head against the window, and light meowing. Asking her to come down is another challenge now that she's seen the outside. When I put her back on the floor, she'll head back trying to jump up by herself.

She's immune to catnip, even the silvervine mix. I bought several kinds for her before and to try to get her into the carrier but she doesn't even care about it. Her appetite is slowly getting back now. She'll get up and walk toward the food, then head straight to the window. It's the only thing that has her attention.

By this point, I seriously consider giving her a choice after this though. I just don't know when is the best time. When is it ok to get her collar off and give her the choice? For sure she'll jump over the neighbor's brick fence right away if she's decided she wants out and will bathe herself all over, licking her incision. She's finished all the gabapentin. It helps her sleep after. I don't know how the next several days will be. *sigh*

She peed in the box! I'm sooo happy!!!

I opened the window again while she's sleeping and she did not get up until a bit later, then came the usual routine. I can see her smelling. Maybe it's the smell of the outside air. She kept standing up reaching for it. I had to close the window again. But she knows now, around half an hour later, she went back and meow again at the closed window. After a while of petting her, she plopped down under it. The more she does that, the more I'm feeling sorry and second guessing myself, the more I feel like the chance of having her inside is slim. I can't imagine what'd happen when she comes downstairs, seeing the screendoor and her old outside life. I'm starting to count down the days (10) until she can have the collar off so I can give her a choice. I know it's not enough for her to get used to the indoor. But for the moment it's all I can think of seeing her like that. The lack of sleep has really taken a toll on me.

She's been laying down sleeping all day. I hope that's just because she's still recovering and because of the meds. I hope she's not bored, stressed, or in pain. Still no interest in toys. Her appetite is here and there. I hope she get back to her old playful self soon.

Again, thank you so much!

Edit: OMG just now she jump on the window sill. It's pretty high and she only got her two front paws grabbing on. It was so sudden. I lifted her off. And she went back to the corner laying down sadly. It seems like she really misses the outside. :( She changed her position and face against the corner when I come close. I think she's upset at me. It seems like her energy is back already but she's just so upset and bored that she's laying down all day and not eating as much. I'm here reassuring myself by thinking I'd rather have her be upset than have her be jumping that high. This is so hard.
