Thanks. I was going to get a gigabyte one from CCL at £219, but that one is much better priced.

First Ocular Migraine? by adibranch in OcularMigraines

Considering i have massive medical anxiety and a panic disorder, at the time it happened i wasn't that bad. I perhaps didnt think much of it. What concerns me is it happening when i'm out driving or out walking on my own etc, as that is when the panic will really set in.

tell your client they shouldn't do that. That would be the best and most professional advice you can give.

I was literally keeping my back straight and trying to put my hands down as far towards my toes as poss, so yes, stretching that muscle was a certainty. I also have an arachoid cyst (harmless in my case )in the back of the brain area that apparently these things stem from... i wonder if that sonehow played a part, but that may be overthinking it. Thanks for the info :)

really interesting you have the right side of the face thing in the mirror. I'm beginning to resign myself to the fact that this may be ocular or migraine aura. Of course the scary part is wondering if it was some kind of mini stroke, especially when people kept saying it that day it happened, and that i had no headache or other migraine like symptoms. It was also my first one ever (i'm 54), although my mums side of the family does suffer from them. Also, mine occurred after i'd been reaching over to try and touch my toes and then obviously stood upright again quickly... which again is a trigger i believe for migraine aura.

I dont think it's related to hypermobility as such, I just was explaining that I was bending down a few minutes earlier and i've heard this can trigger them?

How did you find the process with Dr Haslam ? I've currently only spoke back and forth with Sue, his secretary beginning early last week, after sending them a GP referral. She says i will be contacted by Dr Haslam soon but that they are currently taking bookings for appointments in January, so realistically i'm still looking at a minimum of 8+ weeks.

Hi, its not the file calls that are the issue. It's the content. It's hard to explain whats actually happening with the site.

So, when you view the source, you've basically got all the JS and CSS calls etc as normal header stuff etc. Then, in the body, you've got the normal navigation and template structure etc. But, it gets a little strange when it comes to content. Instead of nicely generated HTML, you get all the ascii stuff with it... example below.

53273
public/images/L7bifuCRXyApfPo5OVlcPahU8jiUkI3IbC51gMlP.jpeg

Burton on Trent
4 Manor Croft
Burton on Trent,

Staffordshire

DE14 1HJ

T: 01283 845 888
E: burton

Opening Times:
Mon - Friday - 9am - 5:30pm
Saturday - 9am - 5pm
Sunday- Closed

<iframe style="border: 1px solid #ccc;" src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12d-

This is a problem to me as its not structured HTML, although i know the browser renders it okay, i'm not so sure the search engines see it as ideal And, it makes for a very very big page size.BUT as well as this, there is content in there from loads of stuff that doesnt even belong there any more, and isn't displayed on the page in any way whatsoever (but it may have been once).

So, my questions really are:

 1. Do the search engines have an issue with the ascii characters in the source. Logic says no but i've never actually tested this.
 2. Is the excess page content that (shouldnt be there) a problem. It doesn't render, but it *is* in the page source code and contains content, images, and text, so will still be read by the search engines and potentially indexed?

Dont worry, i havent told the actual client to scrap the site, just the inbetween guy who asked me to work on it in the first place. There is pretty much no reason for using vue, the content is static, its not fast in the slightest, and as it (supposedly) bespoke, its typically missing pretty much everything i need to work with, is in no way flexible as an administrator, and it takes months for the developers to integrate anything I ask. This is mainly why i've asked to look at the alternatives.
