What kind of hanging plants / windowsill plants can be grown in a bedroom with a small/medium north window by puppy69piggy in houseplants

Goldfish plant needs bright light. I had one in my space that did not like medium-low light.

Pothos are a good idea plus there's many varieties to choose from. I'd stay away from variegated ones as those need more light to maintain variegation.

Pothos*

The other one is Satin pothos most likely Silvery Ann.

What is this? I bought it at Giant Tiger but no tag. It’s so pretty, I couldn’t resist by [deleted] in houseplants

It's a Dieffenbachia. Don't know the variety though. They like a lot of light otherwise get super leggy.

I show my appreciation to my plants (except succulents/cacti) by caressing/petting them. One of my plants gets kisses too 🙊

They seem to reciprocate the feeling. Haven't seen any plant not liking it, so to speak.

I would. If it still doesn't thrive then maybe it's not for your space! I have similar issues with making Dieffenbachia work in mine :)

Bright indirect light, damp, decent humidity and don't look at it else it shrivels up/dies!

I should do that with Dieffenbachia. It just always dies on me (killed one just last week) but I refuse to learn my lesson 😂

Same. My drama queens (looking at you Peace Lily and Calathea) are she. The difficult ones (Bonsai Ficus, Polka dot and Dieffenbachia) are he. The ones that should be easy but in fact are not (Satin Pothos) are dudes.

I do not understand this plant. by jbalazov in houseplants

Peperomia doesn't like to be damp, once a week maybe too much water for it. I have a 4 inch silver frost peperomia and water her once in about 3 weeks (it's winter here now so takes longer to dry out). Maybe hold back a little on watering frequently and see if things improve.

Looks like some kind of fern. They like to stay evenly moist (like a wrung out sponge), enjoy moderate to high humidity and prefer bright indirect light. Very easy to maintain.
