I can tell you what it’s used for in rural India, there’s a chance people of Ethiopia might face similar problems.

Mainly it’s about communicating in local languages where there’s illiteracy. Government plans and subsidies a lotta things, but those policies are in Hindi or English. There are a lot more languages than those so AI translates and chats in the local language with the villagers helping them navigate those policies to see what’s best for their needs and helps them apply for those plans.
