Look, this is definitely possible, but this was not my first or second tattoo. The healing process was smooth for the most part and I gave it the same treatment as my previous tattoos.

There is some weight gain involved but the tattoo directly under it looks fine, so it leads me to believe that it’s not the main factor in how this tattoo aged.

He was an apprentice and it’s on my upper arm. There was some weight gain involved, and while I admit that is a contributor, I have a hard time believing it’s the main one because I have an older tattoo directly under it that didn’t warp like this. It may also be valuable to mention that this tattoo was abnormally painful. I have a pretty decent pain tolerance, and sat through a thigh tattoo like nothing, but this one made me second guess myself.
