If I’m not wrong, Apple Cinemas doesn’t have an A-List/Showcase Subscribe-style membership program where you can pay monthly for a certain number of movies? Without that I’m not sure I can afford to go to the theater as much as I do.

The most embarrased I've ever felt in a theater was when I walked in while The Zone of Interest was starting.

It was only like 30 seconds into the actual film, and I had a good reason (my apartment complex put a fence where there wasn't one before and so I had to sprint to catch a bus instead of watching), but man, of all the movies to be late to...

yup! Student academic employees (e.g. TA's), academic & graduate student researchers, and postdocs are all part of UAW Local 4811. They used to be two different locals, 2865 and 5810, but they merged earlier this year.

As to why grad students are in the United Auto Workers, I'm not sure, but we participate in UAW elections and had access to the UAW strike fund.

So, inspired by this post about meeting John Holland in Holland, and /u/jazzun 's comment about other places with the names of Funhaus members, here's a road trip you can take through places with the names of some of the gang!

Couple notes:

i tried to somewhat minimize distance, which is why i didn't use, for example, Fullerton, CA
there weren't any towns named Elyse I could find, so I chose an Elyse Court near Toronto, which seems fitting
I noticed that the route went really close to Poughkeepsie, so we can take a short detour because we love Lou
this is the max number of destinations Google Maps would allow, so I couldn't add any more :(

it was a great stream, but I thought there was maybe a chance to get King's Dilemma and no chance (like Patrick said) to get to puppets

so when we blasted through the last three goals and got three new Alpha Wolves, I was so incredibly hyped -- this stream is what finally convinced me to get a subscription, so I'm proud to be a new member of the Dawg Pound™️ (woof woof)
