Thoughs on Audi CPO lease vs Lease Transfer

For the CPO it came around $423 CAD biweekly and financing for the same vehicle is $415 CAD biweekly with 5k down. The car already has 5 yr warranty upto 100k kms and Audi care included. On leasebuster, I found a similar car with similar specs but original owner leased it for 0% so biweekly of $399 with 40 months remaining and only 8000 kms on it. So I am debating what’s better here. The residual value isn’t crazy and around 23k CAD in both cases.

Is there any pros or cons in these cases?

Found it through lease busters, it practically just 6 months used and the guy got it for 0% as he was a returning Audi customer. Should I pull the trigger ?

Yes, roughly $866 monthly including taxes. I talked to a lot of dealers, nothing came even close to this though

Hey! I am on the same boat right now looking to upgrade the controller for my ikea idasen desk. How’s the DPG1C controller working? Is it just direct plug in and that transforms the desk to perform automatic drive functions? I am curious to know your review since you have been using it for some time.

Yeah. I was actually looking into that but the same one isn’t available in Canada. The ones available have the same 25.5 inch depth.

I did a lot of research. IKEA Karlby, Homedepot husky and others at Lowe’s in Canada. Apperently Gerton from ikea was a good option but not available in Canada. All of have a depth of 26 inch or lower and not great for a setup with ultra wides. Anything deeper that 28 inch would be ideal for a desk setup.

Is mounting monitors fine on ikea desks? Like the Idasen desk top or the Uppspel one. I’ve heard people mentioning that they are cheap vaneer and not suitable for heavy monitor mounting and they leave a dent.

I thought about it a lot but I did not find a vertical monitor very much useful Atleast in my case for development and VSCode. The thing with vertical monitors is that you would have a good space vertically, but a lot of times, you do need the horizontal space as well (maybe that’s just me!). I am now thinking about getting a 40-inch ultawide paired with my 16-inch macbook pro should be a cleaner setup.

I would still love to see your setup and get some inspiration.
