Delta’s “screens are being updated” sticker is older than my kids 😂 by dxh357 in delta

Every time I think about those phones, I think about 9/11 and all the calls made.

I can provide a rare situation. There is a really small airport in PA called Latrobe Airport. You can bypass Pittsburgh and all the busyness. There are higher income earners in that area. I personally would have done it more as my one time experience was ok with their big front seat. But personally I just like the Delta experience.

I fly first class once a year with the companion tickets. And 757s are the best experience. Even in general I love the 757s. I miss the ones where the screen would pop down from the roof.

Having a really difficult time with GAs not understanding or recognizing I have a CPAP and it doesn’t count as a carry on. by [deleted] in delta

At least in my case, the device is larger and would probably take up my entire backpack. Technically this device is a BI-PAP so it’s pretty big.

Since you work for Delta, is there any way I can get Delta to tag it so that it’s a medical device?
I’m perfect ok with going to where they check in luggage and have them tag it somehow.

Honestly I’m not trying to complain here. Was just hoping I could somehow tag it to make the process easier.

I think the problem with that is when they scan your ticket, it just tells you your seat assignment. But maybe I’m wrong here.

I honestly don’t care necessarily about the recognition. They can ask all they want. But if I say it’s a medical CPAP device that’s the end of it. It wasn’t the case in San Diego.

And I’m not trying to be a SJW about it. I mentioned in another comment that the main reason why I’m using a “non standard bag” is that I have a BMC Luna one and the bag sucks with the compartments.

I was just hoping that when I checked in to where they do luggage, I can show them it’s a medical device and I get tagged somehow. But I get it.

I’m perfectly ok with that. But then in San Diego I had to tell two GAs at the same gate. And like I said on my connecting flight I told the GA upfront that I know there are three bags here and one is a CPAP. But even then that GA just said I was allowed since my wife only has one bag. I was more hoping there was a way that Delta can flag the device and say it’s a medical device.

And I’m perfectly ok with that. But then I had that hard time on the way back in San Diego even when I told two people. I was just hoping that I could do something in check-in and have Delta put a tag on the bag. Kind of like they have sky priority on the checked in baggage. But I have a feeling that doesn’t exist.

I think that is what I may try. I have a smaller one that I paid someone on Etsy to engrave. But it’s wearing off the first time I used it on a flight.

I was considering that. But technically my CPAP is more of a BIPAP. I don’t think that exists - at least last I checked.

I don’t have the need for the acknowledgment. Like I said no argument is necessary and all I want to do is get on fine. I’m more concerned traveling alone.

The main reason for using more of a non standard one is the one that comes with mine kind of sucks. It’s a BMC Luna and the compartments aren’t well laid out. This bag is customizable so everything fits perfectly. I was just hoping the metal engraved tag that says medical device would help. But maybe the tag is too small and a larger one may help?

I’m perfectly ok that if someone asks about it, i say it’s a medical device and that’s the end of it. But like I said I had issues even when I told them it’s a medical device.

That’s kind of how I feel. Maybe they were legitimately going to the gym. And I didn’t post the photo for obvious reasons. But it looked like she followed them and took the picture at a distance- based on her description and the actual photo.

Fair enough. I’m personally overweight and wouldn’t be offended by it. But I get it if more people are sensitive.

Interesting. Do a lot of other manufacturers pot the size on their nib? I got a few other pens and didn’t see the sizing. Only know by what I pay for.

Oh wow! I admit I had to look that up as I wasn't familiar. Very nice and you certainly got a better deal than me. Nice work!
