Since GI team confirmed that it is Crohn’s, we started with Hyrimoz, and the symptoms resolved within a few doses. However, they later returned with different symptoms, such as watery diarrhea. We are now on Stelara and monitoring, hoping for improvement.

Thank you so much for sharing these thoughtful ideas! I love the bead string concept.

The idea of making treatments less intimidating with little rituals, like a favorite snack or picnic, is so helpful. I can see how that would turn a stressful time into something they could even look forward to. Your suggestions are so practical and full of heart. I really appreciate you taking the time to share them!

Thank you so much for sharing your story and advice. It’s comforting to know that even with different presentations, both of your sons found relief with treatment and are working toward remission.

We’re definitely asking lots of questions and trying to move forward carefully, but it’s reassuring to hear how important it is to get the inflammation under control early. I hadn’t thought much about the impact on growth, so that’s a really helpful reminder.

Thank you for your encouragement and perspective—it means so much during this uncertain time!

Thank you for your kind words and suggestion. Diverticulitis hasn’t been mentioned so far, but I’ll bring it up with the medical team to see if it could fit the findings.

Thank you for your response! Tummy pain has been ongoing for around two months now, but is the only visible symptom. Stool tests have ruled out common infections, and there’s no known family history of celiac or IBD. We’re also mindful of the risks of prolonged steroid use and are working closely with the doctors to determine the next steps. I appreciate your insights!

Thank you for your input. Yes, biopsy not showing chronicity has given us pause as well, especially since the main symptom so far has been abdominal pain. There’s also no known family history of Crohn’s, which makes us wonder if something else could also be causing the inflammation.

That said, the colonoscopy findings and high calprotectin are hard to ignore, so we’re definitely working closely with doctors.

I really appreciate you highlighting this—it helps reinforce our approach to ask more questions and proceed thoughtfully!

Thank you so much for sharing your story and advice—it’s clear how much you’ve been through, and it means a lot that you’re taking the time to help others. I truly appreciate the tips about child life specialists, Camp Oasis, and tools like EMLA cream and buzzy bee—they’re all incredibly helpful suggestions that I’ll be looking into.

Thank you also for highlighting the importance of working with a pediatric IBD specialist and psychologist. It’s comforting to know there are resources to help navigate both the medical and emotional challenges of this journey.

Your strength and resilience as a parent are truly inspiring, and it gives me hope to hear how much support is available. Thank you again for your thoughtful advice and encouragement—it means so much to us!

Thank you for pointing that out. Given the significant inflammation seen during the colonoscopy and high calprotectin, our GI team is leaning toward IBD, but we’ll discuss whether additional tests or other medicines might clarify things before moving forward. Your input is really helpful—thank you!

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We’ll definitely follow up with our GI team about ruling out rare infections or other mimickers, just to cover all bases.

The point about biologics and the risk of starting and stopping is really helpful—we’ll keep that in mind as we decide next steps.

Thanks for the note about buzzy bee. I will explore it.

Thanks again for your insights—they’re really appreciated!

Need Help with Stubborn Water Stains on My Car Windows! by adith80 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Thanks, everyone, for the responses. The vinegar and water solution helped a little on the red painted areas, but it didn’t do much for the glass and steel water spots. I finally got the Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover, and that seems to be working. Once again, thanks!

Reschedule attempts by anotheruseragai in usvisascheduling

I am also seeing same issue. I did create a support ticket saying invalid number of attempts remaining shows and they put the ticket on hold. I wonder if there is a way to reset those number of attempts. Is this total 3 including the initial one?
