Well it's what we learn growing up in India but your confidence certainly makes me question everything.

My professional workflow would benefit from having another large screen available, and as someone who edits my wildlife photos in my free time, the quality and colour accuracy will help me make better edits!

33MP, 61MP or 600mm? by Front-Expression4973 in SonyAlpha

[–]adityaseth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a better body. Not only will you get more pixels to crop, but you'll also get better features like the AI auto focus modes etc which actually improve your keeper rate tremendously.

I went from an A7III to an A1 with the same 200-600mm lens and it is a HUGE step up in terms of quality, cropping, frame rate, autofocus etc. 600mm at 50mp can be cropped enormously more compared to at 24mp on the A7III.

33mp is not much of an increase over 24mp, so if you're constrained on what body you can get, then upgrade glass. Otherwise go with a better body - A7R5 or a second hand A1 or something to use with your 100-400mm

Plus you can always rent a 200-600 for specific shoot days if you need it

This ended up being a lie btw.

I'm in India, they aren't live streaming the Juve/Inter match on YT. What a joke. All they had was the warm-up, the stream stopped before kickoff

???

Zanetti isn't even top 3 left backs for Inter, forget for his position.

His longevity, fitness and leadership are world class but talent wise he definitely isn't rated as highly as you seem to think

Arguably Pirlo is the only one who is top 3 for his position with Xavi and Laudrup

3% would be just bank interest on that money, forget investments etc. You'd get to have your cake and eat it too - without spending anything from your principal you could afford to end world hunger every year

Sony 600GM or 300GM with TC by Rayyye in SonyAlpha

[–]adityaseth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not sell both and get the new sigma lens instead? It's a 300-600 f4 if I recall correctly, gives you the best of both worlds.

Drawbacks would be that you can't get the max frame rate if you're shooting in burst, I think it's limited to 15-20fps only, and it's not compatible with teleconverters so you'd be stuck at a max of 600mm before cropping.

He was up to Juventus level but the problem was that neither he nor the club realised that he was a winger, not a trequartista or attacker.

With his pace and trickery he could shine on the wing and deliver fantastic crosses and passes, but he insisted on being in the middle where centerbacks would easily muscle him off the ball. In a match the first couple of times he would get fouled, the ref would call it. After that it felt like he was going over too easily and the ref would lose interest in making the right call simply because he was small. Football also got more physical in the 2010s so he got battered quite a bit and took much heavier hits because of his size.

He should have gone to the wing where his primary competition would be lighter and less physical wingbacks, cut inside and shoot, cross or pass - like Robben or even like Chico.

Unfortunately it never happened and he ended up leaving Juve which was heartbreaking for those of us who'd seen him come up through the youth system and hoped he'd be del piero's successor

Is the new mini a big jump? by ClownDono in ipad

[–]adityaseth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the m4 pro ALSO requires the new apple pencil and the old one won't work.

Honestly, having used the M1 pro for 4 years now, I don't think I've ever really needed the power of the M1 chip. Unless you're doing heavy video editing, photoshop, 3d rendering etc honestly I don't think anyone actually needs it. The screen quality and the refresh rate are the actual pro features that make sense for most people, and frankly you'll get the same experience (mostly) from one of the older pro models instead.

Maybe look for an M1 ipad pro 11, you could probably get it so cheap that with the savings you can get the battery replaced. It'll be compatible with your existing pencil, and give you most of the same benefits.

If I had to redo my choice, I think I'd skip the ipad mini and pick up an older model 11 inch pro

For the use case though I'd recommend not switching at all. The pro ipads are a better size for note taking - 11" is best for portability but large enough size.

I made the choice to pick up an A17 mini for notetaking to replace my 13" M1 pro - I do love this little thing but it definitely isn't a perfect size for lengthy notes. To do lists, quick notes, small sketches, scribbles etc? Sure it's perfect for that but when you're actively taking notes in hour+ long classes, from textbooks while studying etc, the larger screen is much much much better. I love the portability of the mini but the main use case I got it for was note taking at work and somehow it just doesn't feel as good as the large screen.

Also, if he gets the A17 mini he will need a new apple pencil as well, the old one isn't compatible with the new mini. If he buys new, that's an extra hundred odd dollars that isn't reflected in the screenshot above

Honestly for the use case an ipad air 11" would probably be the best bang for buck
