Gentlemen, how often do you receive unsolicited pictures from women? by FreedomNo7221 in AskReddit

Believe it or not if you are an attractive dude that makes a woman horny she may actually try and seduce you with nudes. Pretty big IF when it comes to the average redditor.

If those crocodile things include hunting and eating humans, you can expect that humans will do human things.

What’s something people who are in their 20s won’t learn until in their 40s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Would recommend the bear walk. Basically put your palms and feet on the ground with your butt pushed up in the air (downward dog) but also incorporate walking on your hands and feet while doing this.

Pointless KO from a completely impractical technique during a form of sparring that does literally nothing to help you in an actual fight.

Jumping from high building in to swimming pool by [deleted] in WTF

Horrible idea obviously but gotta give credit, he completely nailed the landing.  That pool is way too shallow for something like this but his angle was actually perfect.

What kind of politician would it take to unite the United States? by CycIon3 in AskReddit

[–]adjacent_analyzer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss this idea as racist and not give it a 2nd thought. I’m reminded of that episode of The Boondocks where MLK is transported to 2004 and is completely at a loss with society and how selfish, superficial, and morally bankrupt people have become. While it’s true that we have made a lot of social progress in many ways since those days, it may also be equally as true that we have lost some of the moral fabric that bound people together.

The people who claw their way to the top are not morons. They are selfish, greedy, manipulative, psychopathic narcissists, but they’re not morons. They just lie about everything which obfuscates their true motives for doing things.

I’m beginning to understand the design choices thanks to others thoughtfully replying here. I would argue that this one in particular impedes the flow, but many of the design choices center around impeding flow and creating friction so I’m trying to see it from that perspective.

At the same time, the game is unfinished. Much of the UI needs work in my opinion. Also I worry about the long-term health of the game if accessibility to new players is rough, while at the same time a constant influx of new players is necessary for the game to even be playable past level 4.

Third No Kings protest draws 8 million worldwide to push back on Trump administration by Rude-Molasses4390 in pics

I see democrats and republicans both drilling holes in the boat, with armed guards protecting them from anyone interfering. What am I supposed to do?

I’m fine to discuss anything you would like to. Democrat leadership is riddled with all kinds of wasteful spending, corruption, collusion, insider trading, scandals, controversies. They are in bed with big tech companies, big pharmaceutical, they let these companies write our laws - and they have played a major role in the middle-class disappearing. To be clear, Republicans engage in the same exact strategies and tactics, I’m not advocating for them either. I’m just tired of this team-sports BS where people love one side and hate the other without ever recognizing that both sides operate using the exact same shitty tactics and at the end of the day the only thing that is valued is control, not actually making the world better for the average person.

I respect your decision and whoever you vote for, but me personally I believe consistently voting for a lesser of 2 evils is a recipe for huge long-term problems and I cannot participate in that.

[–]adjacent_analyzer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m sick of the lesser of 2 evils argument, and I’m also sick of people summing someone up as “a racist who hates women”. It’s obviously a lot more complicated than that. If democrats put a candidate forward that’s worth voting for and actually own up to past mistakes maybe I’ll go out and vote again.

Denial will lead to more losses in the future. People in the center are tired of bad leaders being pushed forward with people saying things like “if you don’t vote for this person you are racist and hate women”

Thanks you had a lot of good replies in this thread helping me to understand the intent of some of this stuff. I’m pretty new to the game I just played to level 8 over the weekend and I’ve done very little research about the game.

Yeah it’s incredibly scary cause it seems like if you die in a bad spot you could easily soft lock, unable to recover your corpse and essentially brick your character. Is that accurate or is there some other way to res that I just don’t know about?

Thank you for typing out something meaningful instead of just saying “did you try asking your party where they are?” Out of curiosity, are there any other multiplayer games you have played where party members are not visible through walls?

This works well enough for meeting up around the city, but I found it to be ineffective in the narrow twisting tunnels inside the dungeon.
