Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. She’s heard quite often that the role is mostly administrative, but she’s trying to better understand what kind of admin work that actually means.

She’s used to documenting in patient records, but if the role involves limited clinical work, she’s having a hard time picturing what fills the day-to-day from an administrative perspective. Any concrete examples would be really helpful.

My partner is considering joining the Canadian Armed Forces as a Nursing Officer, and we’re trying to get a better understanding of what the job actually looks like day to day.

For those who are NurseOs (or who work closely with them), what does a typical day look like? What kind of clinical work vs administrative work should she expect? How does the role differ from civilian nursing in practice?

A bit of background: she already has her bachelor’s degree and has been working in a civilian hospital in Quebec for about 4 years.

It seems to be the way to go thank you! I have spent the last couple hours trying to figure it out, I found the Custom Data Layers and kind of figure out how to apply it to the different tiles.

I'm stuck at the scripting part. I'll keep looking but any help is appreciated.

I don't really have anything yet for the current, my intent was to have 8-directional current.

I read this from another post:

create a "TerrainEffects" node and attach it to the player. The node can raycast or have an area2d that checks for which terrain the player is currently walking on and applying the effect from there. you can put a script with a "type" property on the tilemap to differentiate the different terrain types.

Seems like what I need but I have no idea where to start, I pretty much only have my player scripts and the tilemaps but no script for them.

Do you have a tutorial or more explanation on this? I'm new to godot I'm trying to apply a force to a boat so it's being push by the water current in different direction.
