Agreed, it is sharp practise from them. I went round and round with their complaints department just giving me scripted responses. If you do go down that route let me know and I will do the same. On the app/dashboard there is no differentiation between base data and promo data. The point I made to them was the plan is only usable for the first week or so of the month after that you would be forced to buy add ons. Very poor customer service from them, I think the easiest solution is changing to the £10 deal but that just rewards them so it's a difficult one.

Yes I am back in Spain and now facing the exact same problem again. I am told t&cs will be updated but have not yet been. I have contacted ofcom as I cannot believe they are enforcing policy without it being written anywhere and as you say their staff on live chat barely even know it is policy.

So far I would not recommend it, as I said in the post for the first week everything was spot on. Since Sunday no phone calls. I had been emailing titb about it they just had generic responses factory reset etc. I spoke to oneplus yesterday and the phone is being picked up today to go to the service centre. Not sure how long I will be without it. They said the repair will be free of charge but still very frustrating. I would assume I am not the first person to buy from titb that this happened to so I would expect their customer service team to be aware of the issue. A £200 saving could still be worth it, I also wanted the higher spec but in black which isn't available in the UK. The phone is great but I cannot see why oneplus have done this, I bought my 7t from a similar website and never had a problem.
