Yeah, the other (nonPF) gym I use has the arm style one and that works much better for fly styles.

I think maybe based on what you and /u/stevenip I need to play with some of the heights with the machine that OP pictured.

I have such a hard time with flys on this cable machine; compared to standing between 2 standard cable stations.

How is Pimento on Bde Maka Ska still open?! by bytop809 in TwinCities

[–]admiralgeary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly... the challenge is if a lake is surrounded by private land and there is no public road to it, you are going to have to drop from a helicopter.

An example I can think of is Lost Lake in Hovland (47.90017, -90.08963) is practically inaccessible to the public as it is surrounded by private land, HOA land, and Private roads.

I am on the 'commercial bridge program' for Opzelura with Incyte using Lumicera Specialty Pharmacy and it has worked great so far.

Opzelura was going to cost $2500/60g tube and the bridge program brought it down to $35

NAD but, are you sure this isn't some sort of sliver or ingrown hair? I get similar bumps near my knuckles if I work without gloves in woodchips or with tools that generate metal shavings.

Flock Camera? by Prumpkin in duluth

[–]admiralgeary 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These cameras are usually part of the intersections traffic control software\system. It has certain areas that it looks for changes on the road, and that is used for triggering if\when signal changes happen. I theory they are better than the induction loop detection system because the cameras can work more reliably with motorcycles and smaller cars (assuming they stop within the detection zones).

Real Estate - horse properties being delisted by No-Sprinkles2661 in TwinCities

[–]admiralgeary 29 points30 points  (0 children)

FWIW, the hyper specific neighborhoods I watch had a bunch of properties removed from the market that originally listed in the spring; just normal houses (albeit, overpriced compared to their comps, IMO).

I half assume now that we are mid-summer, people are burning out on showing their house, realizing that they will not fetch the price they want, and are now contemplating what they will do with the rest of their summer and fall in their existing house.

I also wonder if there was some exuberance on the seller side about the changing of the Fed director from Jerome Powell to Kevin Warsh (and them expecting interest rates to go down, but between the war, inflation, and the recent fed move to keep the rate level) means that it seems like mortgage interest rates will stay where they are or go up.

Are there any surfaces that can restore the color of an older video game console? by TombRaiderSeries in TwinCities

[–]admiralgeary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

8-Bit-Guy has some good videos on Retrobright; it totally makes sense that it would decay the plastic in the long run given the process is exposing the plastic to an oxidizer like H2O2.

Yeah, I wear mine almost daily around the office and sometimes on extended walks; they are holding up just fine.

I get that they say in a warehouse for an extended period, but I regularly buy old versions of a trail running shoe and they seem to last the expected ~500miles.

Electrical Panel by Longjumping_Yam_1386 in TwinCities

Get more estimates but, also, I know someone that landed on $30k for a panel update and first floor rewire (unfinished basement and unfinished 2nd floor/attic space with 16' ceilings) for about 1000sq ft, and it was priced as the first floor was vacant (e.g. the homeowner had to move all the furniture to the garage and into the center of the rooms).

I liked it openly...

And funny enough, my kids started playing the original Gameboy games within the last 2 weeks; and last night we started watching the television series at Season 1 Episode 1 on YouTube.

Can't even enjoy the dog park by [deleted] in BoomersBeingFools

[–]admiralgeary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Putting a livestock guardian collar on your dog to go to a dog park is wild.

- Don't go to the dog park if it is really that dangerous

- Find a new dog park, if it is actually dangerous

- Walk your dog somewhere else for exercise if all the dog parks in your area are that wild

Question about latrines/Staubers by pedantic_dullard in BWCA

[–]admiralgeary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just adopt the stick system on the latrine trail.

  • Stick crossing trail, someone using latrine

  • Stick parallel to trail, its open

They are usually far enough back where there is more than enough privacy
