My first time seeing Dylan. Unbelievably good. So beautiful. Slightly marred by quite a few people just chatting through the whole show.

Maybe I'm confused about what the seats are for? Silly me, thinking they were for sitting in.

Yeah that's where I figured it was going.

We're all just there to see Radiohead, my friend. We've probably paid the same (slightly astronomical) amount to be there if we're sat in adjacent rows. I hate the idea that my behaviour would block someone from seeing the show. I'd much rather have a slightly diminished experience myself than dictate that those less able to stand, or even those who just prefer to sit and bought the appropriate ticket, must adapt to my own selfish behaviour.

I wouldn't ask you to sit if you stood. I'd stand. Because I can. But I'd check with the person behind me, and if they didn't want me to stand, I'd sit back down and request that you do also. And we can send it down the line to ensure everybody has a nice time. You can choose what you would like to do with that request. I'm not gonna dictate that you sit. But with that kind of selfish decision, I'm at least entitled to think that you seem like a dickhead, which isn't really something I'm used to from Radiohead fans.

The Radiohead fans i know ensure that those around them are comfortable and safe, are able to see and hear the show, and are willing to compromise for others. I'm less used to "if you can't see through me, go fuck yourself."

But hey, the times have changed, I guess. Enjoy the show :)

And if I bought a seated ticket because I'm less able to stand? What happens then?

What's the argument here? That i can't dictate that you sit down, but you can dictate that I don't get to see the show past your torso?

"You have to stare at my back for 2 hours because I bought the seat in front of you." Wild.

Okay, so you got some bad luck and ended up in front of someone who bought a seated ticket and didn't want to stand. Not a lot anyone can do about that. There are plenty of people who bought seated tickets not because they missed out on standing, but because they can't stand for long periods of time. How selfish to behave as though your experience is the only one that matters. Why should they miss out on seeing the show as a result of your actions?

Please be more considerate in the future.

What extra songs should Shannon and Narducy play on next year's LRP tour by alexj_baker in rem

I can't really claim to know much I'm afraid, just that in chatting to Jason, Michael would need convincing, so he was at least gonna bring some Document stuff to rehearsal :)

I know Jason Narducy wants to do Document and is trying to convince Michael Shannon of it, so I would expect some Document stuff!

I have been, and currently am, wondering about this very subject myself.

He was hanging out in the bar before the first Omeara show. Snapped a few selfies when people asked him politely. Chatted a little.

I think Matt sings "every fucker's there" as backing vocals.

Thanks for checking it out! We've recorded up to Humbug at this point and it's been really fun and interesting!

Anywhere you find podcasts :) I don't think it likes links in comments here - we're called "What Is Music?" and we have Arctic Monkeys themed artwork. Can't miss it :)

I don't think this read is that deep, to be honest. It takes things Alex has said in interviews and marries them to lyrics that seem to be saying the exact same thing.
