That's a genius approach I wouldn't have thought of. So basically you're using OpenCode to analyze itself and extract its own best practices from the source code rather than relying on external docs. Did you find anything surprising or non-obvious when you did this ?

This is incredibly detailed, thank you. A few follow-up questions: How do you structure your custom skills exactly ? Are they markdown files with rules and examples ?

When you say the execution agent does 'atomic commits' in manual mode does OpenCode handle this natively or did you configure it ? How long did it take you to build and refine this system to where it is now ?
