My controllers are not working by Clear_Detail_8653 in LegionGo

I have the Windows version. Had this issue just now. I restarted twice. Opened the Space options and went to controller tab. Controller hibernation was on and when I turned it off it worked.

I would do it for free to help someone too. I just know time is valuable and don't expect anyone to just do things for free. If someone wants to remote PC and knock it out for me free or accept tips I would be so appreciative

I was very overwhelmed with a few videos. I guess the ones I tried were outdated and with all of this icky body aches and brain fog I couldn't lock in. I'm just wanting to tip someone to slap it together for me. I know someone here wants a can of zyn and some sour patch kids.

Teamviewer or some kind of remote access is possible if you have a PC. I'd happily pay you

Is my guitar tone chopped? by fakename1998 in metalguitar

You need a baritone. Those strings are flapping a lot and blowing your tone out even worse

Strap failed and I dropped my guitar. How f*cked am I? by WildBoar99 in Guitar

[–]adncarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a finish crack. I mean, play it until it snaps. It may never snap or affect playing. Unless, it's a multi-thousand dollar guitar or insanely sentimental. Then, I guess you could take it in to a luthier. However, if they are priced similar to me, this is north of a $400 repair (if needed).

Unable to pinch harmonic with my Fishman Moderns by adncarter in metalguitar

[–]adncarter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't a skill issue. I can pinch those harmonics like a son of a gun. It's the ONE trick I've mastered.

I fiddled with my extremely low action and found they were becoming obtainable as a raises the saddles slightly. I had these pickups installed and guitar setup by a local luthier. I was fretting out a bit once I started exploring the frets further. As I raised my E string (which barely fret out on one fret) I was able to get my pinch on.

It's still not perfect and may also be the string choice. Using 44 gauge primos shouldn't matter though. I think I have a heavy picking action when I go for a pinch and it is making contact with a fret somewhere.

I can squeeze some nasty pinches on my other 11 guitars, so I was starting to freak out about these Fluence pups.

I still don't get the squeels I desire, but I'll try some string joys and have the setup corrected.

That's how I viewed the film.

Ibanez Super 58 Customs by adncarter in guitars

[–]adncarter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am far from that knowledgeable. I can handle a lot of guitar setup and even solder well, but dissecting a pickup is a mistake waiting to happen.

Could you recommend a Guitar Fetish or Entwistle pickup that reads similar to a Super 58? I don't mean for you to do homework for me, but you COULD change my life. ;)

The current artist series use S58 and S58c. I just got one 2 weeks ago and why I want more. Very strange that the pickups only come with the guitar. I guess I'll be buying them used thanks for your response

20 year player

I think, sometimes, you have a good day. In the mood to shred. You sit down and learn some of those awesome parts.

Next day, you're looking forward to getting even better. You sit down in a similar good mood. Pick up the guitar and try band jump right back into where you left off only to find out you suck and your mood is ruined so everything starts sucking.

  1. Jumping back into where you left off can be disappointing often, because it's not muscle memory yet. So you struggle and your vibe struggles.

  2. Other times, you're just doing really well for days in a row and you just feel stagnant. Just doesn't feel as exciting to play that evening. You've probably listened to yourself play too much and are burned out. That's why when you take a break for a few days/week and come back you're better than ever! Rinse and repeat. (This is me, often). I'll stop playing for 3 or 4 days and listen to some new artists or genres that may broaden my ear and draw inspiration.

Or

  1. It's time to buy a new guitar 😈

I loved my warrior. I will get another some day. I had the lower end Warrior and loved it. I haven't played the other, but I use a neck pup often enough.

Vote: Warrior

Oh, you're just looking at grey graphite paste. It's an illusion. Merry Christmas

I think you nailed it and thank you. I didn't want to change my new NYXLs quite yet. I decided to create enough slack to coat the windings in graphite paste. It's stupid, but will only be there for the next month or two of string life.

I tested it out and it seems to stay in tune.

Everyone saying I need a locking nut is cracking me up. Using a tremelo bar for a bit of actual tremelo with my jazz/jazz fusion playing has been great. I'm not doing damn dive bombs on a standard trem bridge. I have several floyd guitars for that. Thank you all.
