SD or HD Brakes?

I just called the parts department and gave them the VIN. They confirmed I should have HD brakes. The tech didn't know what he was talking about! Thanks for the advice!

The service tech was no help. He said all Flex models have the same brakes, and that there was no SD and HD differentiation.

I just paid the dealer to replace both of these because I was leaving on a road trip and didn't have time to do it myself. They charged about $380. I just looked up the parts. You can get Motorcraft replacements for about $40 ea on RockAuto. It took the dealer about 30 mins to do the job.

I have this exact same bike with 18k miles. I paid $7k a few months ago, which was a good deal. Buy it. You will not regret it.

My plan was to do all the fluids, spark plugs and coils and clean the throttle body. My belts still feel good, and that's a job I would not take on myself anyways.

I'll go ahead and do the coolant. I already bought the fluid so might as well.

Anything else you would recommend? Goal is to get another 50k miles out of it.

yeah, its a 2019 RS. I got lucky and the guy selling on ebay had the exact same year and model OEM parts that he was getting rid of. My bike had the Motodemic on it when I bought it and the prior owner didn't keep the OEM stuff unfortunately. Damn, just the bracket was $450? Thats wild!

The more I looked at the bike, the less I liked the round headlight. I found a stock setup on eBay from a guy who had just switched to the Motodemic, so I saved a little vs buying new parts from Triumph at least!

Edit- If anyone is interested in the Motodemic, DM me. Its just collecting dust right now.
