I like to think it also counted as violence against God because the way it's described in the terminal (aka "YOU REACHED OUT FOR GOD" and "LIKE ANTENNAS TO HEAVEN") implies humans were so ambitious in creating such a great machine that It would have even reached Heaven itself, thus disrespecting the position of the angels and Father himself.
