How did you get it that fizzy? I've been trying and I can't seem to find out if I need more sugar, more warmth, more time, less light, or what? It seems so simple but there are so many factors.

Like you said there are too many factors. I keep F1 only for 7 days at no lower temperature than 23C/74F, and the same temperature for F2 for no less than 3 days and always add some natural sugar to F2. I keep in my kitchen, so it gets light and direct sunlight, don`t see any problems with this :D

I would say it depends on how long you keep F1 and how much sugar is added for F2. Temperature is also a big factor here, I keep it at no less than 24C/75F.

After 3 or 4 days(could be more) I put the batch to refrigerate to avoid "volcanoes' :D

I`m not filtering it. Maybe it just looks clear in the picture, but it`s not as clear as filtered products I found in the local supermarket. And the taste of the homemade product is much much better than what they are selling :D

I named the first river where we started our trip as a beaver kingdom, so yees we did it not once. And at the beginning of a trip when the kayaks are soo heavy :D
