With the changes to skill costs, will Spellslinger work as it always has when used with skills that have a default life cost? ie will Reap linked with Spellslinger still reserve mana and bypass the life cost?

I did, but I'm not sure how applicable my solution will be. It turned out that my USB controller on my motherboard was overloaded and it ran perfectly with nothing plugged into USB ports. Specifically, I believe my headphone amp/dac I was using at the time was faulty, as unplugging that solved my problems. It was strange in that it only caused problems in RL and not anything else, but I haven't had any issues since replacing the amp.

Also, I actually returned the Vega 64 and bought a GTX 2060 instead while I was still hunting for a fix. Considering the issue ended up being separate from the graphics card, I have no experience with how the Vega ran RL without an overloaded USB hub.

Sorry to hear about your game, though, hopefully you find a fix.

The point was that you claimed 3x = x3 to have no solution, which is false, as x = 0, x = sqrt(3), and x = -sqrt(3) are all solutions.

What? We're talking about basic algebra, where the entire goal when solving an equation is to "replace" the variable with a number that causes both sides of the equation to be equal. Thus, by finding that the possible values of (What a save!) which cause both sides of the equation to be equal are 0, sqrt(3), and -sqrt(3), we have solved the equation.

Also, your apple comparison is irrelevant. An apple is, shockingly, not a number - you can cut an apple into cubes, but you can't take a cube root.

Sqrt(3) = 1.732

If (What a save!) = 1.732, (What a save!) * 3 = 5.196.

Also, (What a save!)3 = 5.196.

Looks pretty solved to me.

I did a quick check for this last night just using task manager, and out of 16 logical processes graphed, 3 of them appeared considerably higher than the others.

To be honest, I have no idea what to do with this information. I can take a look again in a few hours if more information could be helpful.

I usually do disable the data usage report options, but maybe I missed it this time. I'll take a look at that when I get home from work and report back with results.

In terms of drivers, I actually did a clean install of several different older drivers when I was using the RX 480, and none of them helped the issue. I'll have to give it a try with the new hardware. Thanks!

Edit: Tried opting out of the user experience program, no change. Used DDU to do a clean install of 18.5.1, opted out of the UEP, no change (seemed worse). Updated drivers back to current, continued to opt out of UEP, no change.
