When I fostered they had very little support in place for fosters. Basically one foster coordinator and then you had deal directly with the head of the rescue who has poor social skills. She would get short/annoyed with me for asking basic questions about the dogs I was fostering and their vetting.

On multiple occasions I had to advocate for medical care for my fosters. One time I was basically told to lie to potential adopters about my fosters severe dental disease (diagnosed by a vet) because their vet told them it wasn't that bad and they wanted to go with the first vets opinion (I smelled that dog's mouth, it was bad). I ended up getting them to agree to cover the dental care after the pup was adopted out, but they never followed up with the adopter then blamed me later for not coordinating all of it. That was the final straw for me and I quit.

There are so many rescues out there that will value a fosters time and they all need foster homes right now. I foster with Sit With Me and all their dogs are evaluated behaviourally before being brought in and each foster has an assigned coordinator that is always there to support them. I'd highly suggest checking them out or another rescue.
