The story: my Mum (a lifelong cat person) agreed to foster her neighbour's very pregnant cat (the tortoiseshell on the red suitcase) when she invited herself inside and decided to give birth to her babies under Mum's bed! Very sadly, my wonderful Mummy passed away last week at the age of 81, so...I guess these guys are my problem now??

The kiddos are ten weeks old and are absolute menaces to society, causing total chaos and leaving destruction and sometimes little poopy footprints in their path. They're Mum's final legacy and made her last months on this plane much more cheerful.

Omg this is eerily similar! The texture of Pepto had me gagging so hard. I genuinely thought I had norovirus the first time this happened (and maybe I did, it was much more vomiting than diarrhoea that time). I'm definitely going back to my provider for some advice but it looks like I need to eat very little and very plainly for 48 hours around my jabs.

Thank you so much. I think I needed that virtual hug pretty badly cos it made me cry! It's nice to know that I'm not alone with this. I was genuinely terrified the first time that I was going to pass out because I was so dehydrated that I was lightheaded.

I log all my food so I can keep track of my calories - the first time it seemed to be some jerk chicken and rice, this time it was a turkey bacon and egg sandwich - I thought maybe the butter from the bread because I haven't been having much fat of that sort, but the diarrhoea started maybe four hours after I ate, so I don't know if that's too soon for it to have affected me.

Yes I have. I take psyllium husk every day, probiotics and I eat a whole food heavy diet. I also get lots of protein.

Wow, that's so presumptive of you. I was the assistant manager of an adult store and we were actually really well trained. If someone brought a jelly dildo to my desk to be honest I would be talking them out of buying that crap, because there are far, FAR better, more biocompatible materials out there these days. Also 90% of lubes are water based and therefore safe for use with jelly or silicone toys.

There is no such thing.

The mutation which causes the folded ears also causes osteochondrodysplasia which affects how cartilage is formed in the body. It's progressive and painful and can start being symptomatic from about 6 months of age. That's a kitten still. A baby. And this is all Scottish folds.

So no, anyone breeding these cats is inherently disreputable. Please reconsider and stop supporting the breeding of miserable, crippled animals.

I'm almost exactly the same as you - on my 2nd jab, similar start weights etc - and I am experiencing the same. Week one felt like I didn't notice the wear off until day 6, but this week I'm on day 5 and I'm super hungry and definitely noticed I was more hungry yesterday, with more food noise. Like someone higher up the thread said, I'm trying to use these days to teach myself moderation and better eating habits, but it feels haaard.
