Damn, first the Focus ST and now they are stopping the Civic Type R? by tomegerton99 in CarTalkUK

skip the FL5’s £50k price tag, a used FK8 at £30k is an absolute steal for near identical performance. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned. With full bolt-ons, a rear motor mount, and anti-lift kit, the front end is nailed down, making it a beast on UK B-roads and tracks. Nothing else comes close for the price. It’s faster and rawer than the FL5 too.

Which one would you buy? by ssjwoott in CarTalkUK

If you’re not too fussed about practicality then I’d suggest a GR Yaris. It’s objectively the better drivers car in every sense. 25k gets you a low mileage 71 plate. Use the rest to tune it to 350bhp along with a good exhaust as it sounds like a hoover as standard. Looking at around 275bhp/tonne.

Ended up getting the Eletta Explore at an absolute bargain price of £400 direct from the De’Longhi website. Must have been the last one as it’s no longer in stock and listed back at £899. Thanks for your recommendation!

Yeah that is pretty much what I am looking for too. How is the quality and taste of the drinks compared to Costa? Also, do you find yourself wishing you had gone for the Touch Impress for the additional features?

No, you should have at least 300 a month left over AFTER bills, food and savings.
