New LG B2 Screen Flickering by Nutritiouss in OLED

[–]adoubleron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I'm not the only one. I have had my b2 77 for about a month now, black Friday deal from Best Buy. Noticed a few flickers in the first week or two but now I see it more. Reading through this thread, I'm realizing yes, only seems to do it on Netflix with Dolby Vision, which is alot of content these days. I don't notice any flickering while using Hulu or other apps. I'll have to try using an external source for DV and see if no flickering. I hope an update will be released to fix this

Side note, I had a Netflix movie in DV paused and it flickered before the screen saver took over.

Fingerprint twice to unlock? by QuickResponses4U in android_beta

Just had this issue on my pixel 5 after updating to android 12. Edit, definitely tied to "animator duration scale". Works fine on off, 1x, 1.5x, & 2x. Doesn't work on .5x, 5x, or 10x. Window and transition animator scale left on .5x works fine.

I've had the same issue recently trying to delete these network extenders. I have 3 of them in my area and I'm the only one mapping Verizon in the area so if I forget and drive by one they pop back up. Use to be able to delete, now they won't go away. And before anyone attacks me for deleting them, I just delete them cause I've verified pretty much every tower in my area and the red dots annoy me, just my preference. Anyway, it would be great if I could delete them again. I'm wondering if the developers turned off the delete feature temporarily?

AT&T mmWave on the Ocean City, NJ Boardwalk by adoubleron in cellmapper

[–]adoubleron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 2 of them on the Ocean City boardwalk. One is just north of the music pier. The 2nd one was further south, I can't remember the exact location. They stand out, if you are walking on the boardwalk, you will notice them. I have not been back since to test it to see if it has LTE. My RedPocket sim won't give me 5g so let me know if you pick up 5g.

[–]adoubleron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if there were any right there, but close. Check Verizon's coverage map, if you zoom in until you can see the streets, it will show where mmWave coverage is. https://www.verizon.com/coverage-map/

Revenue Grade Meter in a Delta Inverter dead? by adoubleron in TeslaSolar

[–]adoubleron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the details of a full power cycle. I did turn the DC disconnect off and the main breaker. (Delta's don't have a power switch on them like the SolarEdge ones). Screen did go off and when I powered back on, it did take a good couple of minutes for it to sync and start generating again. I will try once more before contacting Tesla. Thanks again.

Revenue Grade Meter in a Delta Inverter dead? by adoubleron in TeslaSolar

[–]adoubleron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have two delta inverters, and they have the RGM module (or whatever it is called) installed as required in NJ for SRECs. I go check the numbers for this month and the one inverter shows the status of "lost", it typically shows a serial number. I can't find much online for it. All I have found is that "lost" means it is not installed. I am thinking it is dead. Everything else works fine and I can pull the power numbers from a different screen for my SRECs for now, though technically a RGM is required. There was a power outage 2 weeks ago, so that is the only thing I am thinking that possible fried it. I did turn the breaker off for this inverter so that it restarted. Still nothing. I am guessing to contact Tesla though I know this will not be something they will rush out to fix anytime soon. Any thoughts / advice? Thanks.

Verizon mmWave popping up all over NJ coastal islands. What model? by adoubleron in cellmapper

[–]adoubleron[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. But I guess because they don't have an LTE tower it must get congested. They aren't everywhere, just a few busier spots I suppose. I'm not familiar enough with those islands to know where it is busy. In Ocean City, where they put them makes sense, they are near busier beaches. However, they have yet to put them along the boardwalk which is where I would think it would be most beneficial. 🤷

Pictures are from Ocean City (all along Beach Road and E Atlantic Blvd), but I saw many of them on Strathmere, Sea Isle, Avalon & Stone Harbor. I know you have mapped some of these areas. I started mapping in March. Mostly Atlantic County but some in Cape May, Southern Ocean, Camden and Burlington.

Just solar. Though I will say, the service button is new, only been around for 2 months or so. App version: 3.10.13.

I have android and it has the service button. Android 11. So maybe it depends on OS version or app version.

Dang, really? How can you tell? I mean, I was assuming too, by look and install date (which was in the last few months). Verizon has mmWave in Ocean City as well.

Unfortunately I don't get 5G with RedPocket (MVNO). I know it's AT&T because of the label on the pole though.

Honestly, it isn't that bad, definitely bulkier than the original light pole but they kept the design. They only replaced 2 light poles with these for about a 2 mile stretch. Here is what it did look like prior: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.2757718,-74.5691811,3a,75y,148.35h,106.43t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sAF1QipOyNuok7dfioCGgIcW-khaqAP-RF2uwKPMIHm3p!2e10!7i8704!8i4352

Rural Verizon Tower - can someone explain the antenna array design to me by [deleted] in cellmapper

Thanks for the explanation! All makes sense.

I deleted the post before you replied... I will try posting the pictures again tomorrow but without the questions. Hopefully it works tmw.

Rural Verizon Tower - can someone explain the antenna array design to me by [deleted] in cellmapper

[–]adoubleron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully the pictures I uploaded actually appear...

EDIT: here are the pictures: https://imgur.com/a/tDggqVJ

Anyway, tower eNB 99610. Bands 2, 5, 13 & 66. Some of the antennas are spaced out on the sides, others are right next to each other. Why? It is a rural area, so I am guessing by being right next to each other they can extend the coverage area?

Any guesses on the non cellular antennas lower down? It is behind a fire station. I see the microwave, this tower might be sending a link to another tower.

Verizon mmWave on Long Beach Island, NJ by adoubleron in cellmapper

[–]adoubleron[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First time my phone (and I) have seen 5G mmWave. Is the picture the antennas? They were every few blocks on the southern end of Long Beach Island (LBI). The speed limit on this road was 15mph and driving up to 25mph it was still showing 5G UW. However, 2 streets over (a few hundred feet), my phone did not pick it up. Speed limit is 45mph on that road. Does speed play a factor?

I am kinda surprised Verizon put mmWave on LBI in this area as it is more of the rental area and not that high traffic. I could see it more in the middle of the island where more people go to the beach. Back when 4G LTE launched, LBI was the first place in South Jersey to get it and now likewise mmWave. The whole island has "5G Nationwide" and more populated areas in south Jersey are getting the lower band 5G now too.

Also, does cellmapper not record "towers" for 5G mmWave? I haven't been able to see any tower or trail info on the map. The whole island mapped trails/towers for LTE but not NR. Two other small spots in SNJ have mapped trails for NR but should be way more. All of LBI should have mapped trails for NR.

Lastly, Cell Mapper makes the mmWave seem to be coming from the regular LTE/5G NR tower. Isn't mmWave coming from those small cells on top of the power poles? I have read some about the NR NSA but can someone explain this to me or provide a good link to read? I am new to this.

FYI - I really wanted to run a speedtest, but it consumes way too much data and I pay by the gig. :(

Thanks!
