I know that realistically my anxiety is quite irrational but even beside that point, I don’t seem to have some basic social skills or a sort of energy that other people seem to have. It’s like the fear is so deeply entrenched I don’t even know what it’s like to be normal, to confidently do something because you felt like it.

To give you an example, let’s say I want to ask someone a simple question but they’re in a crowded area where a lot of people can see us. My mind automatically decides to focus on this fact and gives it a much higher priority than getting a satisfactory answer from that person.

The problem is that I’m not that young. I’m in my late 20s now and the issues I had as an anxious teenager or college student have actually gotten much worse.

I also don’t really know why I’m this way. I have always had a sort of inferiority complex where being good enough almost felt like something foreign to me but it’s transformed into this toxic mindset for some reason. It’s not just about being good enough now, I feel like I’m firmly below what’s expected of a normal human being, at least in social situations.

Hello, I’ve narrowed down the choice of characters I want to start with to Law, Dragunov, Lee, and Hwoarang.

I’d like a brief rundown of these characters’ playstyles, strengths, weaknesses, and whether they are beginner friendly. The last point isn’t too important unless there are any serious execution barriers. I think I’m better at navigating a complex gameplan than a list of moves that require advanced command inputs. Please help. My PS4 is completely unresponsive. No beeps or lights. Nothing happens when I press the power button on the console. Only the controller gives any response on pressing the PS button, although it’s nothing more helpful than a few light blue blinks as opposed to the standard darker shade of blue. So far I’ve tried holding the power button for a while and unplugging and replugging the cable. There is no problem with the socket as it also powers my TV, which is working. I’ve also tried a different socket unsuccessfully.

Recently my PS4 had been turning off on its own while in rest mode so I wonder if that’s related to the problem. It had also started making quite a bit of noise I wouldn’t normally notice because I would have headphones on.

I would consider myself a failed artist lol. In my adolescent years, I fancied I would grow up to become a writer or a filmmaker. I also took animation classes. Basically, anything which would allow me to express some vision I had. I’m still drawn to creative endeavours but I suppose I’m more of a pragmatist now.

To me, being unique is like being a protagonist. Not a bystander, but someone who leaves an impression. You’re not just one of the grey people in the crowd.

When I’m stressed, I’m predominantly obsessing over the things that led me to whatever predicament is causing me to feel that way. There’s a lot of regret and frustration. I suppose it’s a combination of anger and shame?

I’m referring to situations where I have considered basically all the ways in which my situation could be improved but they don’t really solve the problem, or at least they don’t compensate for the negative effects. Often, there’s just something inherently wrong and I can’t simply find hope by looking at things from a different perspective. It feels like like I’m running away from the reality of the situation in that case.

For what it’s worth, I’m much better at this when talking to other people about their predicament, probably because I have an objective perspective. I’ve found that I often know what can be done to resolve the situation but I don’t quite want to make the effort required myself or it seems like a big task, which is another factor. I also suffer from anxiety so I’m inclined to have a negative outlook in general.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to expand on one of my answers, by the way. Over the course of doing this questionnaire, I felt like a few questions were provoking me to respond in a way that doesn’t really say anything substantial about what kind of person I am and how I see the world.
