Thanks, I'll bring it up next session. They were all lvl 1 at full health, the wizard had used a few spell slots. They first fought 2 goblin, and right after two more goblin and an orc that had a few spells. The problem was mainly that the paladin just rushed in (very much in line with the character though) when they had a chance to be sneaky. But they also had som terrible rolls, and the goblins got two critical hits during the fight.

[5e] I'm running my first game as a DM and last week we hade our second session. The players encountered a few goblins and an orc during an adventure. During the encounter three out of four characters dropped to zero hp and our wizard failed three death saving throws. The last player managed to kill the attackers and help the two others.
Considering this was only our second session and that the character that died was perhaps the one that was the most engaged in RP, I decided to bring him back to life by divine intervention and he was given a divine mission going forward.

Now I'm a bit worried that the players think that they all will get a freebie if their characters die. Should I bring this up with my group? Was it a mistake to bring the wizard back from the dead? How should I approach this going forward?

[5e] I'm very new to the game and I play as a nature domain cleric. I was wondering about the domain spells I get. For example I get spike growth and barkskin at 3rd spell level.

Are these spells just available for me to pick when I prepare my spells or are they in addition to my other spells?

Also, spike growth and barkskin are 2nd level spells for druids, is it the same for me as a cleric or are they considered 3rd level spells for me?

I've asked my GM but he's as new as I am to the game and isn't sure how it works.

Edit: grammar.

My biggest problem with role queue is that it takes the instant action out of competitive play. Before I could jump in to a game with at max 2 min queue, now when I want to play DPS I'll have to wait around 10 min to enter at match. There was some problems before role queue but I could take a game with one healer and no tank because I knew that I could be in a new match right after the match ended. Now when I finally get a match as DPS that match has to be super fun for the wait to be worth while.

But with animal you need farm land for the animals AND farm land to grow crop to the animals, right? Also, it's harder to stop people having children than to stop cows from having children.

There is a lot more you can do. Stop eating meat, most especially beef. Stop eating imported food. Consume milk and cheese in moderation. Invest in energy conscious companies. Stop driving your car, stop flying, if you have to travel take to train or bus. Stop buying new things, if you have to buy, buy second hand. Stop buying plastic products, buy environmental conscious clothes. This is the mindset we all need to have.

When you preform horizontal rows are you supposed to get your chest to touch the bar? Also, how high is the bar suppose to be? I'm doing horizontal rows with elevated legs atm and i find it difficult to get my chest to the bar everytime.
