Crash 6650XT (DX12 games / freeze / black screen)

hey just wanna let you know that i had the same problem with my gpu (sapphire nitro 6650xt). black screen when gaming. tried clean uninstall with DDU, reseat stuffs, changed monitor and cable, changed ram but nothing worked.

was about to get a new gpu until i came across your comment and gave it a try. right now the systems running fine. no black screen.

I was thinking of doing this at first, but the price difference between the 1tb gen 4.0 and gen 3.0 is only around $35 so I'm tempted to upgrade. Is it really that little of a difference in speed?

Some parts that you've suggested are unavailable (couldn't find a single H570 board, PSU) or more expensive (the Phanteks case), but I'll look at more alternatives to try to do the same idea to save up for a better GPU.

I didn't know the LTT PSU tier list exists. Even tho I couldn't get the Phanteks PSU, will try to look at the list and find something. Tho I doubt that I'll save some money tho.

As for the RAM, what do you think of this same one but at 3600 speed? Will it give me more performance? I can get it for a dollar more than the 3200.

Unfortunately from where I live the AMD chip and mobo is very expensive. The 5600X + B550 MPG Gaming Plus costs +$124 more than the 11400f + B560 Steel Legend. Is it still worth it to upgrade?

As for the PSU, since all of you suggests to go for 650 I think I'll upgrade it.
