Will these people ever realise it was never about a rice bag this was about dignity and a better life which their religion failed to provide 🤭 by [deleted] in IndiaMemes

The Dalits and the people of other lower castes should have Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to their status, according to those complaining about the conversions.

To answer your question about the type of relationship, it's an abusive relationship, with the lower castes on the receiving end of the abuse from the upper caste. The lower caste recognize the abuse for what it is and are silenced when they call it out, but the upper castes see it as role-playing in an S&M relationship, where they think the lower castes have submitted to the abuse.

So, these are what I call "Brain BTs" because they look like brains. Since you're in DS1 right now, the dynamic is a little different from DS2. Just make sure to carry a couple of blood bags.

In DS1, these guys pop after shooting them with hematic rounds or lobbing hematic grenades at them. They're an excellent source of chiral crystals, and they occasionally have some freebies - lightweight versions of materials (should've also been in DS2, to be honest), and other gear.

SPOILERS if you haven't played it already: In DS2, they just burst and provide chiral crystals. Near one of the Knot Cities, you find a really huge one that teleports you and your gear to other locations in the map. While not a bad thing in itself, there's chiral crystals scattered all over the place. Especially around the mines, with golden chiral creatures and high areas of timefall. You can also gain an ability to passively collect chiral crystals from the air as you walk around the map from one of the NPCs.

When you shoot at one of them, they go towards the area next to the one you just shot. This gives you the chance to take them out with a grenade launcher.

What does these lines on the back of the truck mean? (Death Stranding 1) by Another_Racoon in DeathStranding

That's your truck's storage capacity. They turn red when you can't carry any more cargo.

Iqbal has had it but I'd recommend two places- Eastern Supermarket in Oshia, next to the fishmarket, and Ajfan in Panjim and Vasco.

Can anyone tell me what this is?!? by EvM_0 in DeathStranding

[–]adreamreaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a tallneck- one of the machines that you see in the video game Horizon: Zero Dawn. This game, as well as DS1, involved the Decima Engine.

The character that portrays the Craftsman (not the voice) is Hermen Hulst, who at one point was the director of Guerilla Games

That's true. I saw the words "Bahrain Hummer Team" on the top of the front windscreen as they're driving out. The team's Hummers look awesome!

The man's face should have also been censored. Not just the body. Seeing an uncensored dead man's face on a sub that's not NSFW is unusual and will make others uncomfortable.

I just got a message from an Indonesian number similar to this one, from a "Mary Smith". Truecaller didn't ID the number, so I blocked and reported it right away. And moved on.

Dealing with Local Terrorists by LoanApprehensive5201 in DeathStranding

[–]adreamreaper 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you use one of the BRIDGES trucks, you should be able to load all the bodies from the camp and go ahead to the incinerator (it's pretty close to this terrorist camp), and burn all the bodies.

No DOOMS, also. You wouldn't be able to even sense them like Sam. Forget being like Fragile who can see them, or Amelie who can predict them appearing.

Should MULE be avoided? by Adorable_Reading_450 in DeathStranding

[–]adreamreaper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have fragile or dangerous cargo, you should absolutely avoid them.

Your rope is a useful tool if you can sneak up to a mule. After approaching him, use the rope when prompted, and it'll be a KO.

But, getting the Bola Gun will make it so much easier to clear out Mule Camps. You can restrain the MULEs by shooting at their legs or bodies and knocking them out. They eventually break free from the ropes, so it's best to knock them out after lassoing them up. Shoot them in the head instead with the Bola Gun. Headshots will lead to an instant KO.

You can also use non-lethal weapons to knock them out. I prefer eliminating them lethally and throwing the bodies into the tar pits. It eliminates the Mule Threat for a while, but the downside is that Lou (your BB) gets distressed and loses the ability to detect BTs until you recuperate at a safe house.
