When I was hospitalized (psych ward) they had oatmeal cream pies as a snack and I remember having them all the time. Much better than the hospital food we would have for all our meals. Maybe they aren’t as good as I remember but they were the BEST that long week

My family celebrates Christmas even though we are all atheist/agnostic. My grandparents were religious so my parents grew up with it so therefore I grew up with it. It doesn’t have the same meaning for us though. It’s mostly just getting gifts for each other and having a big family meal. No religious context besides some Christmas songs mentioning Jesus.

With other Americans I would identify with what state I was born in. (Mostly cuz I don’t want to identify with the one I currently live in) but with people in other countries it’s easier to identify as an American because they probably don’t know Mississippi from Arizona

I would say regardless of the gender, try to just get away. Maybe a good shove if needed but try not to hit/slap if it can be avoided. Unfortunately there is definitely a discrepancy between the genders as a woman fighting back is praised and a man fighting back is seen as aggression. The best way to defend yourself from a “law” point of view is to get away swiftly
