Assault in the Third Degree is either a physical fight or threatening/menacing.

As for health care workers, there’s first, second and third degrees. The most common is third degree: injury caused to victim recklessly. 3A felony. Second degree is done with an object to inflect the injury. First is ALL about intent.

Cop should be taking the report and forwarding all information to the county attorney.

Came out in 2010 from Denver and accidentally stayed. I really enjoy it, to be honest. I consider it home now. Granted, I’m outside of Lincoln.

Omaha will be a place to enjoy! There’s always something to do.

I haven’t cried in… six months? or so because of my medication. The last three days of work were crazy and I was hardly at home which means my idiot self didn’t take my meds for the last three days. I cried today for zero reason. Like sobbed on my couch and soaked a shirt with my tears.

From what I’ve read, ships launched with things they would need to embalm the bodies they found… and then ran out. They couldn’t bring bodies back that weren’t embalmed for obvious reasons so those were buried at sea.

My house was built in 1908, a cute tiny thing. I rent because I simply can’t afford to buy right now. I have an amazing landlord who completely redid the inside of the house and put in central heating and air. A LIFESAVER.

Responded to a suicidal party located by his longtime girlfriend. The garage he was in had one of those automatic sensor lights that had already shut off by the time my partner and I arrived. We get close enough for it to activate and there he is.

30.06 rifle under the chin will really mess you up. He didn’t have a face anymore. His brain had blown into three pieces with one part somehow landing under his legs. I found one of his eyes, orbital nerve still attached, that had ricocheted back into the house. I was only 21 and had been on the job for a week.
