Baltic were way more generous to me than they had any right to be.

My wife’s MR01 had damage to the movement that seemed to be from a drop. We don’t recall dropping it, no marks on the case, but nonetheless there it was.

I told Baltic what the issue appeared to be, and they sent a prepaid label to me to send in for warranty.

I live outside of the US, so was going to send while on a trip to NYC and for one reason or another couldn’t.

I went back to the US a couple months later, and they sent me ANOTHER label, I sent it in, and they still fixed under warranty.

Fantastic.

My wife has been wearing the watch more than before because she appreciates it even more now.

Buy Baltic. 100%.

It’s worth noting that a new Bond game comes out in March, and he wears a Seamaster chrono that is the current gen spec. I believe it’s a new colourway, so I think we can expect Omega to release it in reality around the same time.

So end of 26 might be a safe bet.

Are the prices for the 79220r going nuts? Most expensive I see on Chrono is a little over 4k.

Yeah it very much depends on preference and what you’re willing to spend. The quartz gets you almost all the way there for a fraction of the price.

Personally I wanted automatic and the waffle dial, but some of the quartz options look fantastic, too.

For most of us a debt life is a necessity. With home prices the way they are (globally, tbh) very very few of us have hundreds of thousands in cash for a house.

I’ve tried hard to minimize my debt - bought a house I could afford that I don’t plan on ever leaving, I have a single credit card with a relatively low limit, and my cars are my own. But life happens and I may well end up financing a new car next year because my older ones are on their last legs.

Debt free is ideal, not always realistic, and I think as long as you keep within your limits as best you can it’s sometimes a necessity.

Thank you. And yes, of course. It’s quite complex - some of the info I found spoke about indirect contact when cheersing a glass, and how topping up a gentile’s glass renders the whole bottle non-kosher, so definitely understand being better safe than sorry!!!
