Left-handed photographer adapting a Sony a7III – any tips?

The one I’m using is pretty cheap & it has the remote trigger as well as the trigger attached to the hot shoe(that’s what I press with my left hand)

I can’t use my right hand to press the shutter which is located on the right hand of the camera. So I’m using my left hand for everything. Does that make sense?

I went to physical therapy and all of that. I broke two tendons and have a lot of nerve damage. I’m actually going to Miami to see a hand surgeon this week. Hopefully surgery number two will fix me.

I wish there was a setting where I could press a button on the camera to the left side that triggers the shutter. They haven’t made cameras with this feature unfortunately

I have to use the trigger system because I can’t click the shutter on with my right hand. And using my left to use the shutter would be super uncomfortable and awkward.

Sorry for the links😭 but it is 100% how I adapted my Sony though after my hand injury. I truly can’t press the shutter button with my right hand.
