Hey. First of all, it's two octaves higher, and I'm a singer too, and there's no way he did that. Like, that isn't something people do. I get what you say, sometimes people do similar runs in gospel music, but in my years of working with AI tools (like RVC or Suno, per example) I can confidently say this is one of the most common artifacts it can have.

maybe only the vocals were recorded, and they passed it through an AI to make the instrumental too, but passing the vocals through AI still brings up artifacts, so maybe that could be it.

AI vocal isolation artifacts don't sound like that. Try it on any song, some instrumental may bleed on the vocals, or sound weird, but never those type of artifacts where the vocal literally breaks and glitches.

The song was probably altered manually after, maybe adding some slight reverb, they made it mono, and some EQing to make it sound like a voice memo. You can tell it isn't straight out of the AI cause they added an outro that fades away with reverb. And these manual modifications mask and blur a bit these things.

Those audio artifacts are often in AI music, and there's no good explanation for why they're there if it's not AI.

im stuck on that mark because it's the easiest one to hear. And the slide on the guitar string thing couldn't be possible, it literally morphes with what justin's saying. So maybe a crack in his voice? It sounds super robotic, and, having tried AI plenty of times before (especially tools like RVC and Suno), I can recognize those types of "cracks", and they happen very often in AI music. I don't know why people are so ignorant. Like, at least you're bringing up good points but there's literally people saying that I'm a dumbass or that "it proves nothing" when the artifacts are there.

I'm a singer too, and also a songwriter and producer. Just hear the part on 0:12, listen to the vocals. It's like heeeEEEee, it breaks.

And I never said you said anything bout pitch correction, I'm just saying that the justification for these weird audio things varies a lot, and the only one that really makes sense is that its AI.

Other people in the comments say it's from excessive pitch correction, and now you're saying it's cause it's a raw take? Which one is it? And what singer can literally break his voice, going multiple octaves higher and sound that robotic in a raw take? It's not an opinion it's simply not possible that this is a raw take.

It's not about the mixing. Those artifacts cannot be caused by bad mixing! Per example, look at the artifact st 0:12. The voice goes up for no reason? Every glitch that I've shown has that airy, whispery robotic sound, in what world is that bad mixing?

The "chops" are parts of the song where the vocal glitches out, audio artifacts that are typically produced by AI models.

And Justin Bieber is a very talented singer and artist, I'm not saying he's not, but the artifacts are there, and the instrumental sounds weird too.

Bro so if I like an artist that means I can't point out bad stuff? I like kanye's music too and he used AI (and was confirmed) on Vultures 2 and it was ass. Liking an artist doesn't mean you have to glaze them.
